The cafeteria style way of getting food was great. The food was fresh and smelled delicious, tasted great as well. Service was top notch and I would recommend the hash browns casserole. Can't forget the roll it was absolutely a must get.

We enjoy coming here after church and haven't had any issues until this past Sunday. A couple of the ladies at the food bar were rude. I thought it was just me who thought so but 3 others in my party agreed. The waitress was attentive and polite. The wait wasn't very long. If you like a good Southern home-cooked meal then you should come here. It was clean and the atmosphere was moving...it seemed like everyone knew someone there. It was like a large get-together. The parking lot is shared so parking was difficult to find.
It reminds me of the days when Morrisons cafeteria existed. It’s buffet but it’s warm and fresh- more like a soul food buffet. Prices are good and the service for a buffet was good also. You leave with a down home experience.

???I am really looking for true answers...I and a church mother decided to have lunch in Ozark at at HOPPERGRASS. We have eaten there too many times to count. I actually had my daughter graduation dinner there. The start of your lunch was perfect from them waitress. Such as "what can I get y'all to drink?" And me as usual says lemonade and a water then the 73 YO says says hers and a water. So as usual all my lemonade is gone before 1/4 of my food is gone. The waitress comes back and asks "can I get y'all anything?" I say please with my empty cup at the edge of the table. Then about 30 -1 the senior citizen looks some way and I say what's wrong she says "I don't think she heard you " now I'm a natural loud speaker ? but I stop the waitress as she was walking by and asked again just because. "My I have another lemonade please?" This is the waitress response ?% no addition needed "YOU CAN FINISH DRINKING THAT WATER" I was in shock so I said "come again??" And she repeated herself then I said "when did that become the policy?" She said "you asked for lemonade and a water so when you finish it then you can get another " I said "I am getting a refill" then she walks off. I get up and go to the are where they fill the drink orders and 2 other waitresses was in there. I asked "can I have a refill on my lemonade please they look so puzzled? then I said "she said I have to drink my lemonade 1st, so when did that become an policy?" So one of them got my cup and did the refill. I process back to my table. At this point my appetite is gone. I drink maybe 3 swallow of the lemonade and a bit of my meat. While trying to recall the manager's name I made a call and was reminded of it. By that time she was coming to the table near me so I pointed and she said 1 minute. She walks of then see spots my waitress and says help her...I hear it and said no. I need to see you. She says it will be a minute I say okay. Then I can hear my waitress telling her the issue. She came to me and I explained giving the exact details and she said "I'll talk with her" . The manager said would you like a togo lemonade? I said no my appetite is shot and I said I don't think I'll be back so I wiped my hands and left. Have you ever heard of such a thing where refill are free? What are your thoughts? Would you ever go back?
