I've loved Loose Brick for years (basically since they opened) - they always have something for the whole family - but now that they have partnered with Downtown Donuts, it couldn't get any better.
It was just okay. The service was great but not enough coffee for the money.

We LOVE Loose Brick & everything about it! It is hands down the best coffee shop in the Fort Novosel area- truly the best tasting coffee, friendly baristas and owner & such a great environment. Always an excellent playlist & a basket full of baby toys with an awesome downtown view from the couch? Perfection. Additionally, we had an AMAZING experience renting out their venue for our son’s birthday. Excellent communication and planning from start to finish. Such an aesthetic setting for a small gathering! Thank you, guys!!!

I was disappointed to find no visible prices, even on the printed menu, which made it difficult to shop comfortably. We chose not to buy anything to avoid the embarrassment of asking for prices and potentially not having enough money for everyone in our group. The store smelled wonderful, though.
Originally, I rated it three stars, but after their response to my review, I’ve lowered it to one. Their reply came off as sarcastic rather than addressing my concerns.
My mother and grandfather both passed away recently and an employee paid for my order each time the morning of their funerals, an act of kindness I will never forget. Couldn’t ask for more from a local coffee spot. The coffee and bagels are also the best I’ve ever experienced
Stopped here during our trip to Troy because it was local and close to the hotel… so glad we did! The food and coffee is delicious with lots of options! The staff were very kind and helpful. Cute atmosphere! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

My boyfriend and I always make a point to stop by Loose Brick if we drive through Ozark! The bagels are delicious, and all of the drinks are amazing. Their drink menu is great! I love their Red Bull refreshers, and my boyfriend loves their iced lattes. Great location AND friendly staff that aren’t snobby like some coffee shops.

Such a nice place. I was driving from Tallahassee to Nashville, and stopped by. Now I hope for a reason to go back. Delicious breakfast sandwiches! And a very calm, inviting atmosphere.

I'm going to start with the great and good stuff. Really enjoy the location, the large windows, the social atmosphere. The chai is spicy, the unsweet tea is delicious, and there is a wide variety of alternative milks. Also I really like supporting a locally owned business. The pastries are dry but not terrible. However, the service is not fantastic. Everyone is very friendly but apparently no one knows how to use the register. I have visited more than 30 times and every transaction involves scrolling through multiple options on the register and asking for help. In case you're wondering if I'm ordering complicated things, almost every time I order ice tea. However, what I find most egregious is the incessant up charging. If you want a straw with your drink, it's a charge. If you want light ice, it's a charge. I ordered a large iced tea and it was packed to the brim with granulated ice resulting in about 2 oz of tea. I asked for half ice and I was charged 80 cents. This is 1/3 the cost of the iced tea. I asked for a straw and was charged another 20 cents. If this was for environmental reasons, I might get it except that there's no evidence elsewhere that they are trying to reduce packaging or change consumer behavior.I visit the area 5 or 6 times a year and go to Loose Brick 5 or 6 times each time I visit. This trip alone, my total purchases were more than $50. This visit today was probably my last visit. The nickel and diming is ridiculous. The business should either increase its prices to handle basic expenses or it should change their behaviors. Under either circumstance, training of the staff is necessary.
