Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Ok Cracker Barrel y'all need to get your act together. I was there at 3:00 pm and they were out of their entree for the day, Chicken and Rice among other things. The biscuits were not Cracker Barrel standard. They were small and hard. My smoked grilled chicken breast was good as was the fried okra and hashbrown casserole.

Beware false advertising on the menu. “Add” means “Substitute” in Cracker Barrel language, per their hostess and waitress.

The past two times we have been here the food has just been terrible. You can tell everything is pre-cooked and it comes cold. It’ll be a long time before I go back.

We love Cracker Barrel! I ordered catfish and they were out of tartar sauce so that was a waste! Everyone else loved their food.

I had a great, courteous server! It was wonderful! The only thing I don't like is that CB now serves alcoholic beverages. I liked them much better when they were family friendly.

Service was great, but the food was not seasoned well at all. The meat was tough and the rice was very dry. Not typical of my usual experience. Maybe it was just an off day. I'll go back and give them another chance - so I hope this was just a rare thing. We need good restaurants in our area.

Food was cold. Biscuits were like they had just came out of cooler. Brought us more once we saw server to tell her they were like they had been warmed in microwave. When she brought our food I asked for more coffee never got it till through eating when she brought out microwave Biscuits. Bad service bad food Travel through there a lot will NEVER stop at Pell City Alabama Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel has been such good comfort food for me and my girls after we have been displaced due to a house fire. We look forward to eating here once a week. Everything is always so so good!
