Very disappointed in our visit here the menu had changed and alot of the usual options weren't available any more. I wanted steak tips with hashbrown casserole but was told that wadnt an option that i either had to order the breakfast plate that came with alot of things i didnt want or the dinner plate that came with an extra meat i wad told i couldnt substitute the eggs and grits that accompanied the breakfast plater for hashbrown casserole. So to get what i wanted i had to pay for a more expensive option that was more food than I wanted just to get anything close to what I wanted and then everything I ordered tasted nothing but black pepper. The hashbrown casserole had chunks of onions that was overpowered by black pepper. The service was not as good as one would expect. Had to ask whatever server we could find for the things we needed.

My husband and I were driving to UAB in Birmingham, AL. On our drive out we stopped for an early lunch. We loved that we could enjoy 2 healthy and delicious lunches !Dietary restrictions: No white foods. This is no rice, no white potatoes, anything with white flour or white sugar.We did the meatloaf (made with oatmeal), grilled chicken, green beans and collard beans. All the lunch special so it was very affordable. There was no bread option HOWEVER it would be great to have a WHOLE WHEAT roll. Just saying!
The hostess was very friendly and we were seated immediately. The server came and took our drinks. Then our food order. At times, I have not been happy with food, but it has much improved. Nice relaxing lunch.Parking: Very convenient to access the door. Has handicap in front of door.

Good food and good service and that’s the end of any compliments…Big problem at checkout when at the register as I was paying I was asked by the credit card machine…did I get drink refills???You do not need to complicate checkout process…people do not want to be asked miscellaneous stuff when they are managing the use of their money!!!Also this delays the checkout process for others in line behind me!!!Can you contact me please concerning this new process???
