Pell City Bar-B-Cue and Grill

It was decent. It definitely wasn't crowded... Went to a different restaurant the same time, the very next day, and we had a 30-minute wait. There was another place, another barbecue place, but this place should have been more crowded. it was good the food was good

Depressing gray interior with worn out chairs and tables. There is exterior rot and damage left from previous restaurant. The chair seats are ripped and worn. There is paint splatter on the cheap lumber dividers, bench seats (no padding), and rickety tables.

It took over 30 minutes to get appetizers and then they dropped main dishes two seconds behind. The menu is basic, lackluster, and does not relate. It is the season for soup but their "seasonal soups" were unavailable. There are no grill items on the menu. I ordered a grilled cheese on texas toast but it came out as an inside out hamburger bun, greasy toasted, and soft cheese in between. Then waitress stated the menu was wrong.

The fried green tomatoes and onion rings were free made and the breading was perfect to except they did not use buttermilk or salt so very bland taste.

Service is so slow and the restaurant has no more than ten customers sitting, mostly elderly. There is a fight between music and tv sports which makes my head ache.

Just another bad restaurant in Pell City, Alabama. I quit trying in this the only decent food is fast food only town.

The BBQ is great and the sauce is the best I’ve ever had and I Love BBQ sauce so I’ve tried a lot!! The service was great also!!!

Very disappointing. Both the brisket and the ribs were dry and tough. Their bar is shut down. The place was not kept up, toilets were broken and dirty.

Mediocre at best. Brisket was tough. Turkey was tender and moist. Mac and cheese wasn’t warm. Green beans were over cooked. Baked beans and slaw were okay. Fried green tomatoes were greasy. Won’t rush back. The waitress was nice.

Great food & service but they haven't gotten their liquor license in 8 months so no alcohol can be served. Also there are no tv's for watching & the atmosphere is dull.

By far the worst Brisket I’ve ever tasted. So Dry. This isn’t bbq. Go some where else if that’s what your looking for.

Have ordered 2 times in the last few weeks and the food is amazing...ordered a club tonight and omgosh the turkey is delicious. Can't beat the potato salad either. Highly recommend.

Food bad asked for hot mashed potatoes. The temp wasn’t the problem just bad no flavor. Chicken fingers had some yellow substance on them. Just bad.

Five of us went to lunch here and the waitress was not friendly and didn’t get any of our food order correct. The AC must be on the down because it was warm in there. I got the special of the day, which was fish and shrimp and ordered potato salad and Mac and cheese. She brought me slaw and green beans. I ordered unsweetened tea with a splash of sweet tea and got unsweetened tea only. The ones that ordered sweet said it was very watery, and not much taste.
Once we got our food correct it was good.

My husband got Hamburger steak with Mac and cheese and bake potato
And was horrible
The potato wasn't even cooked properly and the hamburger Steak tasted like a tv dinner and Mac and cheese looked awful
Mine was just grilled cheese bc everything I ask for was out
Are sweet tea was just water and nasty not sweet ? and are waiter was nice and sweet but beside there nothing good about this place was dark and quiet and chair have hole and roof had a hole in it and wasn't a welcoming place beside the waiter . We heard good thing when first open but very disappointing ?

First I want to say, the food is actually good. But the building is gross. The air doesn’t work, the floors are sticky, the tables wobble. They hardly had any employees, even if they paid good attention to us. The main problem is that my wife and I BOTH go food poisoning from this place. Her a few hours after left. Me overnight. They clearly uncooked something or don’t keep it clean (obviously). We won’t be back. Nor do I think it’ll last much longer.
