Jumbo's Burgers, Wings & More

The grilled chicken is not that good. The hamburger came with stuff on it that's not on the menu. Stuff that you can't just take off. The waitress was a sweetheart. We may go back one day. Now we know what not to order and know to ask more questions about the hamburgers.

If you love down home southern cookin', this is THE SPOT. There is nothing on the menu I wouldn't try down to the desserts. I had the mushroom and swiss burger and it was all I could do to finish half of it. We had a party of seven people and not ONE had a single complaint about their food or service. And don't get me started on the fried green tomatoes.... This is Pell City's hidden gem. We have good restaurants all around town, but Jumbo's..... Mmmmm, baby! I'm trying to hold back on this review because when we want to go there again, I don't want to have to call for a reservation. But for real, any passers by that want a taste of what it's really like to eat som down home southern kitchen cooking, this is THE PLACE. Hands down. One of Alabama's best kept secrets. I'm already starting to regret letting the secret out, TBH.

Loved the Swiss mushroom burger, love that the cooked it to my preference of medium rare, sides were good. Just an overall enjoyable experience.
