The worst $60 steak I have ever had! I have tried to like this place, but every time I get disappointed. I don’t ever say negative things about a local business, but they have got me numerous times with the steaks!! Worst cut of meat I have ever had at a restaurant!! I had steak and eggs, 14oz ribeye with eggs. I spent $100 on one of the worst brunches I have ever had! No more chances! Horrible

Recommended by nearby hotel. Good food, great selection of ales and alcohol... Service was a bit slow as they were understaffed hence the drop by one star. Server himself was good and personable.

Seemed like a really cool place. Great atmosphere for date night with the wife. We were seated quickly and got our drink orders in quick as well. We soon placed our orders and the food also did not take long to arrive. The taste of the food was very poor. Not worth the price in any form or fashion. We would have been better off at pretty much any other establishment in town. We paid, left a tip and left after tracking down our waitress of course.

First time coming to this place, we wanted to try something new and it was such a good choice, we had the most incredible service here! We had Victoria as our bartender and I swear I have never had better service at a bar, their service truly made the experience and we plan to continue coming back just by that alone! Also, the drinks were exactly what was needed after a long week, we tried the screamin Mimi as well as the Chupacabra and they were so delicious! We can’t say enough good things, I have literally been telling everyone about them! GO SEE VICTORIA! ?

I was passing through not long ago and decided to stop in for dinner. The food was great. I have to say the bartender Victoria doesn’t just mix drinks; she crafts experiences. Imagine James Bond if he were a bartender, minus the shaken-not-stirred dramatics but with twice the charm and a never-ending supply of witty banter. She’s the only bartender who can make a ‘simple gin and tonic’ sound like a gourmet experience while seamlessly slipping in a clever quip. Come for the expertly crafted cocktails (I recommend the Screamin Mimi), stay for the laugh-out-loud commentary, and leave feeling like you’ve had an evening with an old friend who just happens to be an exceptional bartender. Thank you Victoria, if I find myself passing through I’ll be sure to stop by again.

Victoria's expertise wasn't limited to her service; she also showcased her impressive mixology skills with a selection of her own signature cocktails. Each drink was a delightful adventure in itself:

Screamin Mimi: A tantalizing blend that perfectly balanced sweet and tangy flavors, leaving a refreshing kick with every sip.

Chupacabra: This drink had a mysterious allure, combining unique ingredients that created a rich, bold taste with a hint of spice, making it an instant favorite.

The food was phenomenal! Every single item we ordered was above and beyond; especially for the Pell City area. I'm not from the area, and I'd rank this food quality and taste as high or higher than many of the nationally renowned restaurants I'm used to eating at in my home city.
Tavern Fries were very, very good and the cajun oysters were the best I've ever had. The ranch dressing on the salad was made from scratch (IYKYK) and was very tasty! Steak was wonderful and cooked (medium) to perfection. Definitely adding The Tavern at The St. Clair to my list when I'm at the lake.

Kid-friendliness: Great option for kids with allergies. They were happy to accommodate one of my kids with several food allergies and though the food shouldn't have had the allergen it in, our waitress made sure the kitchen staff knew for cross contamination purposes.

2nd time to eat here. Jenn was our server and just the best!! She was on it!!! We had the boom boom shrimp again which is both our favorite. We also had a cheeseburger w fries that was really good! The tea is so good too!!
