The St Clair / The Tavern

I made plans to celebrate my birthday by having dinner at a restaurant in Cropwell, AL. But due to a severe thunderstorm, power to the restaurant had been knocked out. So plans had to be altered at the last minute. My wife chose The St. Clair / The Tavern in Pell City. We arrived about 20 minutes before our scheduled reservation, but we were immediately seated. Our server, Emily, was prompt in filling our drink orders while it took us several minutes deciding on entrees. Service throughout our meal was exceptional -- whatever we asked for, Emily was very quick to provide.

My wife chose a Caesar salad and lasagna while I ordered a Caesar salad with a 7oz filet and loaded baked potato. My brother ordered a sirloin with sauteed asparagus.

My wife enjoyed her lasagna but said she'd probably order something different on our next visit.  My brother said his steak was awesome. My steak was wonderful, cooked to a perfect medium rare, with great flavor. This was definitely the best steak I've had in a long time. The potato was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

All three of us agreed that we would definitely return to The St. Clair. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Still loving it...very consistent!

We had family fly in from Boston to visit us for the Memorial Day Weekend. We took them all to dinner on Friday May 23rd. The servers that night were Jen and Clay, and even Jeremy the Sous Chef, was also on hand helping the wait staff and delivering food to the tables (in addition to cooking) The service was five stars, along with the food. Superb! The employees were working hard to ensure everyone had a great experience. The Tavern and The St. Clair never disappoints! It’s the premier place to dine and we all loved and enjoyed our evening there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first time to this restaurant and it was amazing! I had the bang bang shrimp, heaven to my taste buds. A little spicy and a lot of it. My partner had the tempura fish, it was excellent also.
Great lunch with drinks for two people.

The Tavern in Pell city is amazing. Gracie makes wonderful drinks at the bar and don’t forget to try everything on the menu. I’m always surprised if the Caesar dressing is amazing..

Had the Easter d I evial. Lamp shank was fall off the bone tender. Desserts were delicious. Give them a try. Great service.

We happened in here on a Saturday night, but was able to get a table with no wait. The staff were attentive and the food was really great. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly with great flavor. Definitely will be back!
