Been wanting to try this place for a while and we enjoyed it very much. Our waitress/bartender Lacey was very friendly and knowledgeable. The stuffed mushrooms she recommended were the best we've had in a long time. We had the smothered chicken and cowboy sushi, both of which were well-crafted with fresh ingredients and tasted great. Getting to finally see Savannah J perform at The Place Next door was well-worth the drive alone. The headliner Karen Waldrup and her band were absolute pros and her manager was a cool cat. Met the owner David who was very hospitable and "talked shop" with us for a bit. Looking forward to going back for dinner and a show the next time Savannah J plays again. Fabulous venue, go support local businesses and live music!

I ordered a farm burger When I took my first bit off it I noticed there was something wrong with it There was a peace of plastic still on the cheese I took it off I didn't want make a seen I was extremely disappointed 😞 in & the service was extremely slow Is the worst place I've ever been I left the peace of plastic on my plate so they could see it The owner never called me back
After a 5 hour drive, we landed in Piedmont, Al and was starving! We had dinner and sat at the bar for a beer! The bartender was phenomenal! She was so busy and managed so well even when the bar guests were in her ear! The entire staff was so helpful!! The food is amazing!! We ordered loaded fries and between the 2 of us almost devoured the entire thing!!! The beer was cold and the people were so nice!! Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy a girls night like we did!!
