This place reminds me of my childhood. My recommendation is to go early in the AM donuts are fresh and the ladies that work there are so friendly. You must also try their ham croissant This is my new go to spot

I've been really disappointed lately with the quality of the donuts at another well known place, so I picked up a variety from Daylight yesterday. 24 hours later they are still fresh and soft! So delicious too. The best part - Daylight Donuts is less than a mile from my house.

Best donuts around the apple fritters and the kolaches are absolutely incredible!!!
I had no idea this was in pinson. My first experience was amazing the lady was super nice and didn’t get annoyed that I took a minute to make a selection. She even gave me 2 extra donuts to try since it was out first time there. Took my kiddos again today and again great service my kiddos loved going there. And their donuts taste so good and fresh! I’ve tried donuts from all over and they are the best in the area.

I was greeted upon entering the shop by the solo worker on duty. She was assisting another patron while I browsed and took pics for yelp, of course. This isn't my first daylight donut experience but this was my first time supporting this newly opened location in Pinson. The donut selection wasn't very appealing to me. I ordered a dozen donut holes , 1 glaze and 1 buttermilk or sour cream donut. Spent $5.16.Unfortunately, the donuts were dry and had an awful aftertaste. Ewwwwww I went a little after 3 but I don't think the time of day should dictate the freshness of your product. I find this to be a recurring problem with daylight donuts. Freshness is lacking. Clean shop , nice employee but I didn't love the product.
