The only competition for better local Mexican food is the other Munoz! Servers are always very friendly and attentive, drinks are delicious and the food is what really keeps me coming back. If you're hungry, try the Munoz Quesadilla Supreme!

Taco salad is my go to, with the chips and cheese dip! Ive had great service every time I've visited.
I love Munoz! I love their chips and salsa and especially like the spinach quesadilla tipped with cheese. It's really good. Everything I've ever ordered is really good. Would you consider opening another restaurant in Gardendale? The ratings aren't that great on the ones I saw online. We need you there. ❤️❤️

Food was bland and had no flavor. The best thing was the cheese dip and tea. Service was slow, our drinks ran out and we had to wait on refills. They weren’t busy, it was after the lunch hour rush.

Would give 5 stars but the old lady that seats people is very rude. I came in and was waiting to be seated and another lady asked me how many I said 1 and she pointed to where I could seat then that old lady walked by and said that I'm supposed to wait to get seated but in a very harsh tone like I just broke the restaurant law. Ive been in that restaurant 100s of times and she has always had an attitude. She needs to find another job if she doesn't like being here.

Amazing not from pins on but just stopped here while driving back to Birmingham and I was blown away. I was nervous at first but the flavors and service was amazing!!!

i used to go to El Cazador, until they changed their food taste, still fine for some but not this true Tex-Mex food connoisseur. Muñoz is the real deal done right. Beef enchiladas with jutst rice, melts in ur mouth! everything is excellent. thank you!
