I called this cake shop at 3:55 on July 12 and spoke with Mrs. Janice. I was in town celebrating my daughter’s 14th birthday and needed cupcakes. She advised that the store closes at 4 but she would keep the store open until I arrived. Upon entering the bakery I was greeted with excellent customer service. I looked in the display and noticed she didn’t have enough cupcakes. I asked if she had a cake that I could purchase. Mrs. Janice said let me see what I can do. As I sat by the door I read her background story regarding her shop and where the name derived from, I also read several bible quotes, and looked through her cake photo book. She asked what did I want on the cake and I showed her a pic. About 15 mins later, Mrs. Janice hand crafted a masterpiece and saved the day. I pray that God continues to exalt Rickey J’s Bakery and owners. She could have not taken my call or closed her store BUT she waited and I left with a cake and not cupcakes! That showed me her love for her craft and anointing on her. Thank you so much Mrs. Janice for everything. My daughter and everyone else enjoyed the cake and were surprised that she had one. Blessings on Blessings and overflow in abundance. May God continue to shine through you! We will be back!

Had a custom birthday cake made here for a 1st birthday and they completely exceeded my expectations. The cake turned out better than I could’ve imagined and tasted wonderful as well. A 6 inch smash cake was also included and it was so precious!! Super sweet people!!
