A great place to eat and the staff is so nice! This place is a hidden gem 💎 The most amazing fries ever! I’m not a big meat eater but I love their hamburgers hotdogs pork. My husband loves the brisket. My dog loves their ice! Great sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes and Macaroni and Cheese. You can’t go wrong with any food here

we ordered to support them through the road closures in the area after they posted on social media that it was affecting their business. we called and placed the order on a thursday to pickup food on saturday, so 2 days ahead of time.
the lobby was not very clean, the food wasn’t ready at the time of pickup, and the sides were a huge disappointment. we got the family meal. so we ordered and paid for a meal that’s supposed to include enough cornbread for FOUR people, and they didn’t even include it. when we went back inside to get the cornbread that was left out, he said they were out of it and didn’t even offer a refund. in what world do you not compensate someone for something that you didn’t even give them?? we paid extra for mac n cheese, and it was literally noodles in milky water with no flavor… so so bad. the only good parts of the experience were the meat and sauce.
when they were putting together the order, they were scraping the bottom of the pans and making comments about being low and out of food. we ordered 2 days in advance to give them plenty of time to prep and have it ready.
just such a bummer. we used to love this place.

Over the 4 bbq places I had in Birmingham, none compared to this place. Me and some friends went to another bbq place and were disappointed so we came here and this isn’t even remotely in the same league. I had their brisket and Mac n cheese - Their brisket is incredibly supple compared to the other bbq places I checked out. Go check out The Barbeque Stop, especially for the brisket!! Also, Bo is a sweetheart and let my friends use the employee bathroom! Make this your next stop!!

I used to absolutely love this place but the past few months it has just changed. The fries used to be great but they have changed them and they are terrible now. They don't give you enough sauce for the sandwiches or when you buy a pound or two of pork. I bought two pounds the other day and the tiny amount of sauce they gave me wasn't enough for one pound. They upcharge for extra which I understand but they should give you enough with the food that you order. The sauce is what makes it a good place. The two young girls at the counter the last 2 times I've been in there are rude and to busy playing and cutting up with each other to be nice to the customer. I asked them a question and one of them was so ugly and treated me like I was stupid for asking about the fries. The fries now are absolutely terrible. Im very disappointed it has gone down hill so bad bc it used to be the absolute best place to get bbq

Great service. It was HOT in there. Still, the person that took my order, brought my order out to me. Very nice. The southern peach sauce was good. Meat was moist. I would go again
Went for the first time and the ribs were bussing!!!! Tender, juicy, falling off the bone, well seasoned, you don't even have to use their barbecue sauce because they are seasoned to perfection.
Now, the sides weren't good at all. I give them a 0 out of 10. They had flavors to them that I thought was awful. I couldn't take but 2 bites and trashed them. Advice, get some old black grandmas in there to prepare and cook your sides. Whomever is on the grill with the ribs, keep them!! The second time I went back the ribs where 💯 again, but I had to drive to Costas barbecue to get my sides.
I will definitely be back, but for the ribs only. Sorry for the good/bad review.

Their Jumbo and Regular BBQ Pork Sandwiches are both excellent, and the French fried potatoes are very crunchy. Service was friendly and quick. Park was plentiful.
