The ribs would be perfect if not for the over use of salt. It over powered all the other rub spices. I'm pretty sure that my mother salted my baby food, so I'm no stranger to the shaker. This, however, was just too much.

Outstanding BBQ at a great price. The pulled pork and brisket were both tender and juicy, not over cooked or dry. Hardly even needed any sauce but the sauce was amazing!

We purchased BBQ Stop for a Christmas party yesterday. It was ready when I picked it up and they carried my order to my vehicle. All of the food was so delicious!! We ordered pork, chicken, green beans and mac n’ cheese. We look forward to picking up food from here again!

Got take out today and had to pull to the window to order as the menu board is apparently out of service. I ordered the loaded pork baked potato and it took a while to wait at the window. Seemed reasonable as it’s a baked potato. Got to my destination to enjoy my lunch and it’s not even a fluffy baked potato at all, but overcooked home fries (potato cubes) that were covered in pork and cheese. There’s no bacon or chives or butter as advertised. I added my own green onions. This shouldn’t be advertised as a baked potato. I should’ve been told they were out or let me know it was a substitution. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. There’s much better barbecue nearby that will give you what you ordered.

This place is outstanding. Excellent brisket smoked perfectly. Very good sides and huge portions. You will not leave hungry. That's for sure. This place is worth the drive. One of the best BBQ placed I've been to in all of Alabama. Highest recommendation.

We stopped to grab a sandwich on the 4th if July. Yes, we expected a wait, what we didn't expect was the manager, shift lead whatever yelling at her employees and complaining that is they continuing to take orders today was running everything behind on getting pre-ordered food out. If you did not want to serve walk ins on the 4th you should have been open to pick ups only. We left without being served.

What a hidden gem in Birmingham! I visited from South Africa and walked past one afternoon on the way to Piggly Wiggly, so glad I popped in for dinner. The BBQ stop is a perfect example of Southern hospitality and serves amazing pulled pork with mac & cheese and corn bread! Exactly what I was looking for in Alabama! Thank you for the amazing experience.
