Sick of restaurants pressuring you into tipping people to bag up an order and hand it to you over the counter...my rule: if I stand up to order, I don't tip...i will be back IF you take off the tipping option, with your employee staring expectantly while I choose or ignore your tipping suggestions...otherwise, im one and done
Best deli in the state. I’ve been eating at chappys for over 20 years. They have 4 stores. 1 in prattville and 3 in montgomery. Highly recommend

The breakfast at Chappy's is great! Lots of food for hungry appetites. I ordered the Muffeletta sandwich which recently returned to the menu. Unfortunately, the chef completely blacked the cheese & some of the meat into the bread. I could not believe someone would allow that to leave the kitchen. I wasn't even sure it was cheese until I realized I couldn't find the cheese on the other end of the sandwich. Too late to send it back half eaten. Service was excellent.

The sandwiches we had were both good and bad. I had gotten out of surgery yesterday, and my wife got us the Reuben sandwich and the corn beef sandwich.
I hadn't eaten all day, and she gave me half of the Reuben sandwich and half of the corn beef sandwich. The Reuben sandwich was amazing, but the corn beef sandwich was not good at all. The meat was extremely tough, and I could barely eat, so I didn't. But that is the first time I have had a bad sandwich from this Chappy's. We will still be going back.
