Prices reasonable and the portions are large.It does not look like much from the outside, but the lines are usually long for takeout. The best way is to call in an order and then allow 10-15 min more than they estimate if it is at meal times. Depending on the time of year you can get crawfish.
If you love fresh seafood and you’re passing by Prattville at lunchtime, do yourself a huge favor and stop at DJ’s. The seafood selections are as varied as they are fresh. Is it a fancy place? No. Will it be some of the best-tasting seafood you’ll ever eat? Absolutely! We’ve been stopping here for years now, and it is consistent each and every time.

Shrimp was fantastic. Purchase by the pound for takeout. Fried was great, but so was the grilled/broiled (forget which). Friendly staff. Ask about the tip jar -- think owner donates the $$$ to a great cause.
