The food was good. The problem was the service. The waitress was not friendly but we had to keep asking for items because she would not check on us. The staff had little children there that was unruly and ran around uncontrollable. Had to ask for drink. Had to ask for ticket. Will not cone back on weekend maybe try days.
I found El Mriachi when it was in Montgomery right off on Ann Street by the interstate years ago. This was about 15 years ago. It was the best and most authentic Mexican food I had ever eaten. We moved out of Montgomery to Autauga county near I-65 & 31 in Pine Level. The wife and I drove past the restaurant and said we need to try the food. We went there a few days later and was happily surprised to see my Hispanic friends from Montgomery were now less than 5 minutes away...
It's amazing. Best Mexican food I've had that tasted fresh as always. Best service and atmosphere. They are closed only on Sundays. Give them a shot you won't be disappointed but you will be full.
