If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter worked here for a month and never received a single paycheck. She messaged the manager and asked about her paycheck and the manager told her that she would give her gas money instead of giving her the paycheck that she earned. She worked several double shifts. Someone needs to look into how this place is ran. The managers daughter works there as well and while the daughter was sitting around all the other employees had to do the work. So if you are looking for a job and want to actually get paid then this place is not it. I’m so glad my daughter took my advice and finally quit after a whole month. To this day she never received the money for the hours she put in at this place.

***response to feedback. What information is needed to check into this as a resolution would be great. It definitely was not fair to my daughter. Also is there a reason that my review was deleted and only reposted when I updated the post with a response to the feedback?

No one in line to order when I walked in. 5 ppl behind the counter working. Took 5-10 minutes for someone to take my order. Took 25 minutes to get my firehouse meatball sandwich. The bread was soggy and cold to the touch. Meatballs and sauce were cold and tasted old. Will never eat at this location again.

Food was not good, soda machine was nasty, getting sick off of the food. 3-19-25 at 420pm. The restraunt was not clean at all. Not going back! It used to be a great place to eat, but today changed my mind entirely.
Hope no one else gets sick!

Waited over 40 minutes and had to leave due to my schedule, so I left without my sub. I’m kinda glad because the prep area didn’t look very clean anyway. The employees were turning customers away saying, “I don’t know how long it will take we are really busy.” There were 4 employees behind counter, and the place wasn’t very busy. Half the tables were open. This is the only one star review I have ever submitted to Google.

Nice and open space, but honestly the staff feels lazy for a lack of a better word. How can a sub place NOT be able to toast bread?????? And how do you "not have bacon"???? Probably worst overall Firehouse experience I've had thus far

Went for lunch on our way back to Birmingham. 2:30 pm. The floors were dirty with food scraps and spent napkins. Broom and dust pan in plain view. 6 employees behind the counter, one in the pantry. 3 of the employees were talking and ignoring the customers, one person making sanwiches. Poor very poor. Corporate needs to know.

The manager would not help me. The customer service chat wouldn’t help me, so I’m leaving a review.

I placed an order through the firehouse app to this location. The “receipt didn’t print” so even though I had a receipt through the app they told me they wouldn’t make the order and to try to get the app’s help desk to refund the order. I have now put in 2 tickets over a week’s time waiting to get a response. I still do not have the sandwich or a refund. When I asked the manager to please help me somehow she snarked what did the app’s help say? To which I replied 24-48 hours for response. She said well then, it’ll be 24-48 hours with a flippant disregard. No attempt to resolve the situation except to tell me to place a new order in store and wait for a refund. Previously, I thought firehouse was great. This experience has completely soured me on this restaurant.

We were traveling through last Friday (lunch) and stopped here to eat. Food was good, service was good, staff was really sweet. We decided to stop again while traveling back home today (Thursday evening) Wow! What a difference! The lady working ignored us standing waiting to order and never acknowledged our presence (yes, she deffinitely saw us). Middle aged bearded man finally came to take our order but mumbled the entire time and all but yelled at my husband when my husband couldn't understand what he was saying. He was extremely rude and seemed bothered we were here. Husband ended up with the wrong sandwich but just ate it anyways verses dealing with the people behind the counter. There was another man with pink hair that I THINK was supposed to be cleaning but basically just stood around the entire time despite floors being dirty and trash overflowing. And as a bonus, we got to eat while listening to the staff bicker. Management, get it together. This was terrible and your people could do so much better as evidenced by our previous experience.

Food was subpar, onions were all tough and soggy (wet leather shoelace). No real flavor to the meat, and contents were all mushy. Hot sauce bar only went to level 7, level 7 is a solid 2 or 3 for a hot head. Was excited to get something hot that was different from what I had at home. Staff was the redeeming factor in our visit.

Extremely slow ..hire more people if need be but there is no exscuse for it being a 30 plus minute wait for one sandwich
