We ordered for us to pick it up. We got back with our food and they gave us no utensils, no napkins, and they forgot to give us our salad. I normally wouldn’t care, but it was $82.00 and for that price we should have been given all we paid for. My wife and I ordered spaghetti and while it was edible, it was not good. My wife had 6 bites and finished her garlic bread then threw it away. I was able to take 4 bites before it was just too awful to eat anymore.
We ended up going to a gas station to buy chips and junk food for supper. I’m not knocking anyone who tries this place, but check your order before you leave and NEVER order spaghetti.
Thanks for reading.

I was actually there the same day as the review below, and while I completely understand the frustration with long wait times, I wanted to share what I observed as a fellow customer and long-time supporter of this locally owned gem.

The restaurant was absolutely unpredictably slammed all at once. It seemed like everyone decided to come in at the exact same time. The two employees working the floor were definitely overwhelmed, but I could see they were doing their best to take care of everyone as quickly and kindly as they could. When the couple left, visibly frustrated, I noticed the employees were genuinely upset and concerned. It clearly bothered both of them and they talked about it afterward with true sincerity. It was just a perfect storm, a tough moment on a tough day.

I’ve always found the food and overall atmosphere here to be excellent, and it’s one of my favorite spots in town. I know firsthand how much heart the team puts into this place. Hopefully others won’t let one tough day cloud their view of such a great local business.

I don't know what has happened to MPK. Obviously poor management. We visit every Thurs or Fri. Noticed the service has disintegrated. Today we went & waited 30 minutes to not be waited on. Finally got drinks, no ordering. Despite being told by bartender we were next, server skipped us to wait on others first who just came in. We finally left $ for drinks & walked out. What a way to lose loyal customers. They said too many people came in at the same time, but that's no excuse to skip us repeatedly.

Me and my family stopped in on our way back from Florida and the staff were all super friendly and the food was fantastic! Some of the best pizza we’ve had and the kids ate all of their food! MPK will definitely be a spot we stop at from here on out!!

I just ate the most delicious pizza at Midtown Pizza Kitchen in Prattville, Alabama. What made the experience unforgettable, however, was how nice the staff was. I didn’t catch their names, but the three ladies working at closing on April 10, 2025 were outstanding! They made me feel safe and comfortable in the establishment when I was eating alone, they made me feel confident in myself when I was nervous feeling, and they just were genuinely nice to me. I wasn’t feeling the best emotionally when I went in, but coming out I was so glad I chose to eat my dinner there. Huge respect was earned for this establishment tonight!

We beat the dinner rush on a busy week night. The staff was thin but they moved fast and were working hard. My kid loves his spaghetti and meatballs. My wife and I shared a large pizza which was a lot of food for 2 people. We were at about 20 per person after tax and tip which is a lot for pizza and spaghetti. I can see why the place is popular. The best part was the thinner crust.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with a good kids menu.
