Tropical Smoothie Cafe

We have gone here a few times. Their green smoothies are good. I cannot speak for any others but I have enjoyed each of them. I feel like the employees are always a bit distracted and not as knowledgeable of the products but still a good overall experience each time.

The staff is polite but the service is Slow Slow ,Slow. Be careful when paying with a card. They will add a 15% tip to your bill -the card reader button selection very small

I arrived at this location around 7 PM. The chairs were already stacked, and the floors had been mopped, which gave the impression that the store was closed—even though Google indicates they’re open until 9 PM. After placing my smoothie order, I went to the restroom to wash my hands but found there was no soap in the men’s bathroom. I checked the ladies’ bathroom as well, and it also had no soap. This raises concerns about hygiene, especially considering that employees are handling food. It’s hard to believe proper sanitary practices are being followed without basic essentials like soap in the restrooms.

I paid almost $5 for add ins that were never added. And they never like to come in to work on time. The store is never open at 6:30 like they claim.

Don't even bother calling this restaurant they will not answer the phone and half of the time it's off the hook. Order online if your in a hurry. Staffs not very friendly Either. But foods good like every other tropical smoothie establishment I've ever been in.

I did a previous review and it was taken down. This place is terrible when it comes to customer service! I had the worse experience ever at this establishment. I can tell that these reviews mean nothing. Don't waste ur money here!

This place is so nasty inside. Where is the owner/ manager??? Just saw a worker make food with same gloves used to take money. Food on the floor and walls. It’s awful

45 minute wait for smoothies is crazy. Its painfully obvious your bottleneck is the smoothie operation currently at this location.

We walked in at 8:22, they don’t close until nine. They had all the chairs up off the floor and were doing all of their closing duties. One of the ladies said “y’all really finna piss me off” I don’t guess she thought she could be heard. The other girl acted like she was scared to take our order. She asked the one with the attitude what she wanted her to do and she told her go ahead but that they had already pulled all of the food. All we wanted to do was get a smoothie and leave. But the awful attitude made us just leave. So I can’t even rate the food because we didn’t even try it. You don’t close until nine. You shouldn’t be doing closing duties at 8:30 that hinder you serving people until nine. If you dont want to work then go home and let someone who does have the job.

Me and my family got insane food poisoning from this place. Dont eat at this gas station like smoothie place unless you like a 24-7 bug.

Ordered ahead and came at the pickup time and still had to wait 20 minutes for my smoothie and just for my food to look t like it was thrown together. I don’t know why I keep coming to this location when it’s more “miss” than “hit”.

June 6th, I placed an order at 12:08PM that indicated it would be ready for pickup at 12:18PM. Arrived at 12:24PM and the smoothie was prepared, still waiting for the sandwich and chips. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, and seeing people that ordered after my arrival receiving their food, I went to the counter and asked if the ticket that was previously under my smoothie was being prepared. Response was, "We don't have turkey" and then she went back to preparing other customers' meals. Cashier wasn't interested in helping either. Waited another 20-30 seconds to confirm nobody cared about trying to fulfill my order with an alternative option and then walked out with just the smoothie. Had a meeting starting at 1:00PM and could not waste any more time trying to receive compensation or food. I've already submitted this to Tropical Smoothie online and called the 1-800 number so no need to waste your time suggesting that. Franchise owner obviously is not interested in trying to maintain a quality business with customer service.

Edit after owner response: Of course within 2 days you suggest I go back to the link and share my experience again instead of searching through the existing review I've already shared online and through your 1-800 number. Not actually interested in resolving anything.

That was the worst smoothie I had in my life they need a NEW manager at this store

"Shaun, we are very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us; we are committed to providing the highest quality food and great customer service to all of our guests, and when we don't it is disappointing. Please provide us with more details" There I copied and pasted it so you dont have to. This location is awful and unprofessional. You dont need more details, read your reviews and be better.

Be careful if you eat or get a drink here. I placed my order but ended up getting a refund after seeing how unclean the environment was. But first, the young man prepping the food, pants were sagging, exposing his undergarments. I had to ask the guy taking my order to put gloves on, after which, he sighed......after standing and looking around for a few, I noticed The tops for the smoothies were full of old fruit one had Grey matter in the top. It looked as if the restaurant had not been cleaned properly the night before. The counters and tables appeared to be wiped down with a dirty rag due to the dried streaks on every last one. I noticed the health score was hidden behind something like a tall metal cooler.
