Uncle Mick's Cajun Market & Cafe

Uncle Mick’s is one of the best places to eat in the Prattville Montgomery area. Good Louisiana style food and plenty of it. Great prices and great people. Don’t worry about it. You’ll like it, they let you taste it before you even order it. Five star all the way.

My first time ever being here and the food is terrific. I will be back.

The food was great, but what outshone everything else was the staff. When they found out it was our first time in they insisted on letting us try things before ordering. I can’t wait to go back.

On my way from Pennsylvania, made a small detour off of 65 south to try gator for the first time! The atmosphere of this place nor the food and staff disappointed. They’re so kind & friendly as welcome as you can be from being out of town!!! The gator over dirty rice with come corn bread. You can’t go wrong here you will not be dissatisfied!

The customer service here was great, and the fact they let us sample some of the food, seeing that it was our first time, was outstanding. Everything we sampled was fantastic, and seasoned to just right. We will be going back soon.

Amazing! Super friendly staff and really yummy comfort food that they gave us samples to choose from! For sure going back.

Now this is some mom n pop southern food!! Absolutely delicious! The staff were so incredibly nice and helpful by letting us taste anything! Must go!

Spectacular place for Cajun food. Several ready-made options for you to choose from. The owner is very friendly and makes you try several of them. Dessert brother. One of the best restaurants in the region.

We went for our nieces birthday dinner. Upon walking in it was nicely decorated with a rustic feel. The menu had several items to choose from. I got the chicken gumbo, white rice, green beans, tomato salad and garlic bread.

The gumbo was schmeh....literally some shredded chicken in a thin gravy like sauce. Not the gumbo I'm used to which is almost stew like with peppers and onions. The tomato salad was good. Green beans seemed like they came from a can with some bacon added.

On the other hand, the service was really good. We were waited on and taken very good care of.

The only time I don't clean my plate here is if my body refuses to cooperate. The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and the staff will let you taste test the food so you can make sure you'll like it before you get it.

Went here a few years ago off a recommendation that the person would drive 200 miles out of the way to go back. Um, yes! Best food in Prattville and probably central AL. It's a bit pricey, but you can get a sample of anything before you choose. Anything shrimp for me! Will continue going here as long as I live in the area.

Awesome dining experience after church on Sunday. The food was great, and the service staff were excellent. We were visited by what I assume was an owner who checked on us and gave us great information on the upcoming events and the area. We highly recommend it.
