If you're looking for honest, hearty, and unbelievably delicious comfort food, you need to get yourself to Chef T's. After a recent visit, I can confidently say that Cordelo Soles is a culinary genius. The food we had wasn't just a meal; it was an experience that left us completely satisfied and already planning our next trip back.
We sampled a trio of their best, starting with the colossal Double Bacon Cheeseburger. It was a towering monument to flavor—two thick, juicy patties generously layered with melted cheese and crispy bacon, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, all sandwiched in a soft, lightly toasted bun (or served as the impressive Chef T Burger on thick slices of Texas toast for a different, equally satisfying texture). The sheer size is intimidating, but every bite is worth it. The quality of the meat and the perfect crunch of the crinkle-cut fries on the side make this an instant classic.
But the true star that stole the show was the BBQ Loaded Baked Potato. This massive baked potato was split and completely smothered in a generous heap of tender, savory BBQ meat, dripping with a rich, smoky sauce, and covered with a small blanket of melted shredded cheddar cheese. It was an explosion of flavor—the tender, perfectly seasoned meat contrasted beautifully with the creamy potato and the sharp cheese. It’s pure comfort food elevated to an art form.

I moved to Ragland a few months ago and had no idea about this place, until yesterday. If you can find an eating establishment with better food, service or PEOPLE, I would be very surprised. Mi is a Beautiful Soul.. as well as everyone else working there! I will be returning.. regularly!!

We stopped in on our way through and are very happy we did. The staff are very friendly and the was wonderful. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, mashed potatoes with gravy, speckled butter beans and corn bread. My husband ordered the catfish filets with cucumber salad, cowboy beans, and corn bread. We both left stuffed and very satisfied. We will certainly be back for more.

The food was great but that’s not the best part. I loved seeing guests come in being greeted by their first names and everyone being so friendly with each other. It really was a wonderful experience. You can’t replace the small town feel where everyone really does know one another.
