We had been planning my daughter’s birthday for weeks, we decided last minute not to drive 30-40 minutes away and instead go to The Ark, mistake, they changed the lunch menu to like four horrible items, like a kids menu, so we had catfish/shrimp & oysters/shrimp, from the dinner menu, my oysters were super tiny, but that would have been ok, but half the batter was off and soggy, some were scorched on one side, not good at all, almost old greasey taste, ate only one and that was enough, my daughters catfish was very muddy tasting, she couldn’t eat it, and the grey/blonde hair on my plate didn’t help, we spent $50 and felt like we could have flushed it down the toilet. I hated that all the planning we made for that day and we were so disappointed, they’ve never been known for their sides, but you use to could count on the seafood being good, I will say the fried shrimp and little salad was good, not sure if I’ll be back.

First time at this establishment. Had a short wait for the owner to come and wait on our table. The food came out after a while and was good well and delicious. It is obviously a popular place with most everyone coming g in as we ate. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would return at some e point and recommend others to try it as well.

It was really crowded but got seated immediately. Ordered food and it was delicious!!
Had the shrimp and catfish plate and it was exceptional. Food was served piping hot, with plenty there to eat. Portions were plentiful. Country atmosphere with super friendly staff. The prices are respectful and not overly priced. Would definitely eat here again. Well worth the trip.
