We stopped here for dinner while staying at Wheeler Park and the meal was SO good we came back the second night. The first night we had the specialty quesadillas (Hawaiian and Shrimp Fajita) and both were excellent. The second night we had the Enchilada Supreme and the Shrimp Fajitas and they, too, were delicious. Portions were large and prices were excellent. The salsa and chips were also great!

Went to Julia’s Grill Mexican Restaurant today next to Foodland with two of my grandsons for lunch. We were, for the most part, ignored by our server. When he finally came, I ordered the Speedy Gonzales which was a taco, enchilada, rice (AND) beans for $9.40 on the lunch menu. Server asked me did I want rice (OR) beans. I said the menu states both rice (AND) beans. He said that will be $11.40. I said the menu price is $9.40. He said it’s a $1 more for rice. I explained the menu listed both rice AND beans for $9.40 and that $11.40 is $2 higher not $1. He said ok it’s $10.40. I told him he can’t just raise prices higher than the menu price but he could care less. I asked for my receipt for our drinks with no straws, paid and left. They weren’t very eager to serve today! I’m not likely to go back.They were not busy so I could not understand why the server took so long to come get our order. The boys had to-go cups but he didn’t give them any straws to drink with

The food and service are usually very good, but significant menu price increases (July 2025) lowered the rating based on value. Their prices are 10-15% higher than other options in town for the same menu item.

The food was well prepared and served quickly. Chips and salsa was good. I ordered the chicken with rice special for the day. It needed a little more cheese dip to have made it the best. I would definitely eat here again when in the area.
