Spent the weekend at Joe Wheeler State Park. Each night dinner was provided by Lash’s Seafood. It was DELICIOUS! Great food and an AWESOME staff!!

Lash’s has gone down hill since they started remodeling. Service is horrible. I was waiting in line to order when the staff skipped over me in line and took the group behind me. Then they continued to ignore me for more than 10 mins the customer I was waiting in line behind finally turned and said I would just leave they keep ignoring you. A gentleman with a staff shirt on just kept chatting with the customer right in drive thru.

Being local we have been ordering takeout for 7 years being a weekly treat. Since being under new management ive never been so disappointed. The new owners are super nice don't get me wrong but the portions have went downhill. I always order chicken and sausage gumbo, I've lost count at the times it's been nothing but soupy no meat only a shred or 2 of pieces of chicken. Oh you'll get plenty of onion,celery, tomatoes and rice. Sauces are always left out and I even ask if there in the bag to which I'm reassured. 50$ i feel wasted. I pass it daily and ik their making bank so PLEASE have a word with your servers. Slowly losing it for the service 😕

The Lash at the Joe Wheeler Lodge Thanksgiving meal was a disaster. Plastic plates, no napkins, cold turkey and gravy, turkey in the form of lunch meat (A disgrace), no real salad with lettuce or tomatoes. I have had Thanksgiving at the Lodge before, but this took the cake. Real rookies doing it this time!! I also reviewed this event on Trip Advisor.

Great food, haven't had anything bad. Price is good also. Gumbo was delicious. Husband's fried catfish and fried oysters were also good. Definitely will go again.
