Several of us met tonight to eat for our 30 year class reunion. The food was great and came out very quick. The staff was very good at making sure we had everything we needed! It was exactly what we wanted for a casual night out to catch up.

Had the grilled blackened catfish fillets, baked potato, hushpuppies, and a salad. Washed it down with a very good sweet tea. Everything was very,very good. 5 star meal with 5 star service!!

I had an out of town guest and we chose to have dinner at Lash’s at the Lodge! Never have we had such amazing service! The food was delicious and served in a timely manner! It was very affordable not to mention the beautiful view! It was a win for me and my guest and we will be back!

8/16/25 Lashes @ the Joe Wheeler Lodge. We waited 56 minutes for a hamburger. We asked if the seafood / oysters were fresh & our server said everything was frozen. So disappointed. We need a really good restaurant in this area. Lots of complaints were heard while we were there.

This review is for the lodge location. Got there at 2pm and they had just closed for an hour with a sign saying they were closed from 2-3pm. Waited an hour and they changed the sign to say closed from 2-330. Waited another 30 minutes and the line to get in had gotten pretty long. Price was a bit expensive and service was really slow. The food tasted pretty good, but not worth the wait and price paid. If your staying at the lodge I recommend driving into town. You'll eat cheaper and spend less time doing so.

The gator tail and catfish was so good. Never tried gator and this restaurant didn't disappoint! Excellent health score too. Friendly staff and didn't have to wait long. Will definitely eat here again.
