Sofia's Cantina Mexican Restaurant

What a rip off! Menus have one price but be prepared when you pay your bill….what should have been less than $20 ended up costing almost $30. When we asked the owner/waitress why she said price increase for past 6 months but hasn’t had opportunity to change it on menu! ? basically she is stealing from people. We should have known when we walked in at noon on Sunday and there were 4 other people in the restaurant! She will NEVER get any of our business!

Fish tacos and drinks were very good. Ask for their hot sauce if you like your food with a bite.

have eaten here on 2 occassions the last one was 24 hrs ago. ordered different entrees each time to try other meals. was very happy with all of them.

The food was outstanding. I was there twice during my visit and it was not busy in the early part of the week. Elsa kept us company during the meals and I wish I lived closer. I'd go there all the time.

I don't normally leave reviews but this time I had to, since it's been the last few visits... the food was absolutely terrible, and I really used to love this place, the chicken was dried out, (not crispy-as in over cooked)dried out old... we were charged for tea's instead of water's, we were over charged for both meals according to the menu's, (for dinner). The rice was not regular cooked rice- it was instant, the cheese dip was watery, the shrimp in the chimichangas was seriously dried out and smelled!! after I had her take off the tea's she said the other prices had just gone up. It was just a terrible experience that day.

Customer service was great! We had a party of 13 came in an hour before closing and still was welcomed and had great service and food was great!

If you like watered down cheese dip, salsa and beans this is the place for you. I personally prefer full strength food if I'm paying for it. I won't be back.

Has went downhill fast. I feel for anyone working there. The owner is a micromanager and it’s awkward service. Food was 5/10 and badly managed.

Wayyyyyy overpriced. My son paid the bill so I didn't get a chance to see the total beforehand. $180 for 5 adults and two small children is completely insane, especially for stale bland food. Needless to say... we will not be going back. Don't waste your time or money.

This is a hard review for me. I want to like this place. The food was good. The waitress was very nice. The drinks were very good. The downside is it was expensive for the amount of food. Maybe it is because there is little to no competition in the area but the bill is something I would have expected from a higher tier place. Portions were good but not generous. When we ordered on 2 items we weren't ask what size they just assumed we wanted the large size which we didn't. Better communication could have been had on both sides. Overall it was a good experience until the bill. Again maybe that is because of the area and lack of competition.
