I placed a order yesterday 6/18/21. My husband got the teriyaki tips and added a side of roasted potatoes. The tips were over seasoned and so nasty no one in the house would eat it. I ordered the four piece white fish the seasoning in the breading was awful like someone was experimenting with seasonings. The hush puppies were dried out. But at least my kids food was ok. This is the first time I have had a bad experience with Shef’s. The girls are awesome they are always happy...
I haven't had a bad meal here yet. I do wish that their salad bar will be reopened soon. I also wish that they would let you have more than one trip to it. I think they want around $4 for one trip and that is a little stingy considering that most restaurant's in the area don't limit you to one trip. Otherwise, they are the best restaurant in the small town of Rogersville.
The decor is nostalgic, signage from an era long forgotten. The staff was very courteous as well as prompt. The food was very good. The reason for the 3 Star rating, is due solely for the fact that the carpet, in at least 1 of the larger dinning areas can only be described as being in a movie theater at the last showing of the night & your feet are sticking to the floor due to all the spilled soda on the floor.
