Plate looked microwaved and melted. Sat in drive through for 30 minutes, just for the worker to keep telling me the total when I wasn’t finished, and huffing. No silverware or napkins in bag. Not a good experience

A couple of days ago, I went through the drive thru and ordered the three piece catfish dinner that is advertised on large sign for $6.49. It was after 4:00 just as specified. The male operating the ordering arrogantly asserted that they only sold two piece or four piece. When I got to the pickup window, he demanded over $10.00 for the dinner advertised for $6.49. I told him that was not correct. In a rude, dismissive manner, he falsely claimed that was the price for a snack basket. I told him I didn’t want it and drove off. He greatly needs some training in the menu as well as in basic courtesy to customers. But generally, I like Jack’s and had breakfast there today.

Today we went to Jack’s and waited over 30 minutes just to be served. When we finally got to the register, the cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. He was talking over us while having a conversation with his friend about Waffle House down the street where he used to work.

My husband politely asked if it was his turn to order, and the cashier, who made sure the entire dining room knew his name was “Terry, spelled T-e-r-r-y” — loudly announced that if any guest wanted to complain about him, they were welcome to do so. It felt like we were in the middle of a soap opera when all we were trying to do was order chicken.

The behavior continued. He kept saying guests could call in on him because he “didn’t care.” By this point, he had the entire dining room’s attention. To make matters worse, he was preparing drinks and handling cups by holding the rim of the glass while scooping ice, which is unsanitary and a health code violation.

As for management, they could clearly see the situation unfolding but wouldn’t even make eye contact with guests. The entire operation felt like it was falling apart.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. In a small town like this, word travels fast. You may want to seriously evaluate both staff and management. We will not be returning.

They need a major retraining of employees. People that actually care about se ving the correct orders and working on speed. Waiting 40 minutes for a order when they are not crowded is plum crazy!!! Then having it wrong and having to remake it three times after a long wait is inexcusable. I asked for my money back and they refused, made me wait even longer for the food because again they made the wrong order. 😡🤬🤔😩 I was told oh we figured you left, most people just leave!!!! WTH I paid for it. Refused a refund, why the heck would I leave? I guess that's what you wanted so you could eat it for free? I threw it all in the trash. You can't eat cold as heck fries that have been sitting that long on a tray waiting for the correct burger. So many people are so sick 🤢 of the attitudes at this Jack's. Disrespectful people who work here. Manager needs retraining. Physical fighting of employees shouldn't be tolerated either. One night a man and woman were fighting, fist fighting in the back cook area right where we could witness. I tooky children and left. Didn't go back inside the store for over six months. Afraid to have my children there.
And why exactly is the walk in people less important than the drive through people?

My husband is disabled and one of his favorite things is Jack’s breakfast so I go get it every day. Even if I have to borrow the money!! He enjoys it Soo much!!

The two shakes we ordered yesterday was both so runny like water with the mess all outside of the cup. They got upset we wanted our shakes remade but who wants a shake runny like water they are suppose to be thick. My dads fries over cooked to much salt mine no salt still white under cooked. The food was absolutely disgusting. They should never ever push food like that out. My dad has cancer and very sick so when he wants to eat out he loves jakes and the food and service yesterday was absolutely disgusting.....

went inside to order , I stood there for 15 minutes no one would wait on me. There was 9 people working in there no one ahead of me to order
, but all they were waiting on was the drive thru which only has 6 cars in line. I will not go back there nor would I recommend this place they are very inconsiderate and rude

Ordered online pickup for 11pm had to wait 15 minutes of my 30 minute lunch just for the food to be wrong. What's the point of having an option in the app to order for future pickup if you still have to wait for it when you get there, then your receipt is wrong for the food you ordered. I ordered the food 20 minutes in advance for reference. Better off to just go to the drive through I guess.

Biscuits were hard. Just not the same as it was. Always have to wait in the drive-in a long time. Other than the biscuits everything was good.

Best deluxe breakfast I've ever eaten. You got grits, sausage and gravy, tater tots. Sausage patties, biscuit and eggs. I thought the price was very good, so was the service. I can hardly wait to try thir chicken and hamburgers and ice cream. Being new to alabama I'm a customer for life.
