Speedy Pig Bar-B-Q Restaurant

Use to be one of my favorite places in Russellville to eat since we don’t have many options. They don’t serve bbq all the time like they use to which is a shame. I went thru the drive thru a couple months ago, I ordered the friend chicken plater, I paid and then was told they have to change the grease out (really? That’s something you do before you open) I said ok they told me to wait in front of the parking lot which I did, 20 mins go by and still haven’t gotten my food, I was annoyed and hungry, I said to myself to go get my money back, I talk to the lady at the ordering menu and told her I’d like a refund, another lady comes out and said it’ll be right out. I said to them that I would just like a refund please, so I they say pull up to the window so I did, a man (I assume the owner of the establishment) opened the window and handed me my money back, his face said it all, he looked like he was about to blow his top, I said thank you and drove off, I then went to McDonald’s. Idk why the man had such a temper with me, why like seriously why it doesn’t take that long to fry chicken and the fact that they said they had to change the grease out at 2 in afternoon didn’t make no since at all.

Never any kind of speed about this place...

Closing at 5 pm for no apparent reason.

They no longer serve pork..... The only item list of their menu at the moment is chicken.

I drive 45 miles to go to Speedy Pig it's always good we always enjoy it

Chicken, fries and sauce oh my. All top of the line. Always fresh and the “crusty” type fries are awesome. Always make it a point to visit.

They dont even have bbq

It has changed. Don't think the pit is used very often. But the food we had was great

Ate lunch there yesterday. Was very much disappointed that they no longer pork or beef and now only have chicken. Huh? I asked why they were doing this and the answer was "that chicken is more healthy." I went outside to check their sign on the building and to see if the picture of the pig was still there. It was. Good luck with this biz strategy. My guess is it won't last long.

It took 30 minutes to get our food an we went in to get it. Ugh!!!!

Love the food and service !!! Chicken fingers and sauce are awesome but I REALLY miss the smoked chicken being full time on the menu !! I truly wish they would bring it back ... I wish they would stay open an hour or so later and on Saturday’s !!! I have always had a wonderful experience when i have ate there !!! P.S. PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING THE SMOKED CHICKEN HALVES BACK!!! PLEASE !!!

They was slow getting food took 1 hr for my call in order

The meal and service were superior, as usual.

Good chicken. Miss the okra and bbq!

Pretty good BBQ. A lot of people liked it. Not to long on the food.
