Such great food!! First time trying tonight and it definitely will not be our last. And the carrot cake was the perfect ending!

It is interesting to find and looks like a house from a distance but once you get up close you can clearly see it is marked. The waitress was super nice. The food is excellent!!! Highly recommend I will be going back to try more things as they have a very unique menu.

Restaurant was clean and well presented. Food was outstanding and customer service was more than expected. Our attendant , Nicole, was spot on service and down home country friendly. We met some customers that was just passing thru on their way to the beach and stated that would be their stopping place on every trip. If you’re ready for some good ole country cooking and southern charm be sure to stop by, and don’t forget the sweet iced tea, the best in the land.

85 yo man with bad back and cane. Walked up ramp to find that I had to go back down to elevated restroom next door. No ramp just steps. A job for me. Trip back to dining room. Had the seafood platter. Fried oysters best I've had this year. Nice size shrimp breaded and cooked nice. Flounder was tasty. Crab bite tasted like real crab. Very good hush puppies. Cole slaw good but fine cut. Not my favorite. Special was Gumbo with shrimp okra and sausage. Gave me a taste sample. Did not look like it was made with roux. Tasted ok. Shrimp in it was excellent. Okra could have been cooked down a bit like most of us from Louisiana do. Now the kicker. It had whole kernel corn in it. Had that once before also here in lower Alabama. Told my cousin in New Orleans about the corn and she had a fit! I intend to make gumbo soon and plan to take some to the owner if my back gets better because I ain't getting any younger! Regardless, we will be back. Thanks folks.

Just a good old fashion mom and pop place. Food isn’t the fastest but it’s cooked to order and guaranteed to be hot and fresh.
