Excellent cafe with quick FOOD COUNTER. Literally walk into to the counter and have your plate filled up with homemade country favorites like fried or baked chicken, potatoes, hot veggies, and corn bread.

It's hit or miss with this place back in the day they were good unfortunately now it seems the oil for deep frying is used to long so the food ended up that .every once in a while we try again and ww keep hoping things will get better.

Wonderful people, clean, on point table service, easy accessible to the highway. Did I mention the food prices, very reasonable for what you get. Options are plenty. Just stopped in on the way to the beach for a Sunday lunch. Very dry baked chicken..ate a couple bites that I could barely choke down and left the rest. Mashed potatoes and peas were hospital cafeteria quality. Roll and greens were the only decent thing. Unfortunately salad bar was an extra $2 on top of the already $12 meal, and my son’s one scoop ice cream was nearly $4. We will sadly have to drive down the road and stop for a second lunch after $30 spent there. Service was not bad. Do not recommend and will not be back.
