We arrived at Barnyard at around 5:15 pm on a Saturday, it was very busy and I could not wait to see what all the buzz was about. We quickly paid the cashier found us a table and began fixing our plates. The first things I went for were the bbq ribs, catfish, fried chicken and shrimp. I found this restaurant online, looked at the pictures of the food and the cost, which stated for the time of day we were visiting would be $12.99. We arrived at 1:50 pm and was charged $15.99. I questioned the cost and let her know what I had just seen on the internet and she said yeah, and gave us the senior discount of a $1 off. She said she does that for everyone. Cashier efficient and cordial. Wait staff prompt for drinks and checked on us without being intrusive - kept our glass full. Wide array of desserts and salads, plenty of meats and sides. Fresh breads and condiments. Excellent food and service. Will bring more friends and family soon.
