This restaurant was spectacular. I was craving soul food and good bbq. They did not disappoint. They had ribs, collard greens, cabbage 😋, cornbread, mac and cheese, and so much more. I left this buffet with a whole food baby

I've been twice now with my coworker and we love it!!! Buffet was solid and the Mac and cheese is perfect. Got a pulled pork sandwich this time and was not disappointed. It's a little bit of a drive for us but worth it. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Also got to meet the owner and she was super sweet lady.

Just ate here today for the first time. The food, service, atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was hot and fresh. It was delicious. It felt like we were eating at home with family. The staff were very informative about the services offered in the restaurant. There is no doubt we will be back soon. We will be bringing others with us.
I went here for the first time and was absolutely amazed! The food was incredible — the yams and ribs were my favorite. The owner was so kind and personally checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he truly cares about his staff and his business. Our waitress was fantastic — she kept our drinks full and made sure we never had to ask for a thing. I’ll 100% be back and will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

After visiting this restaurant last year on a field trip, my students wanted to make the stop again on our way back from the Clotilda Exhibit in Africatown. While we were looking forward to another group hug with Ms. Josephine, the original owner, after our meal, we discovered that the restaurant was under new ownership. After our visit today, we learned a few things. The new owners, Bridgette and BK, were more than hospitable. They greeted us with love and joy, holding the door open and welcoming us in. The buffet was fully furnished with hot and delicious food to serve our group of 29 hungry teens and chaperones and the staff flowed around the tables full of grace and intent to make sure we had a great visit. I was worried that other tables in the restaurant might get neglected while we were there, but not at all. It was obvious that they had planned accordingly and offered efficient service to everyone in our group and others. While the hot food on the buffet is divine (Mac and cheese, sausage, ribs, and chicken), do yourself a favor and DO NOT skip the cold section. The slaw, potato salad, and banana pudding is a meal on its own. And if pecan pie is available, be ready to slap some hands to get it before it’s gone! It is the perfect ending to this buffet banquet! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
The atmosphere takes you back home to old school Mobile county. The food was packed with delicious flavor that screams grandma and grandpas recipes. The minute we walked in we were welcomed by smiles and friendly gestures. B.K. Himself decided to come out and welcome us. We will definitely be back!!!
