This was my first time eating food from McAlister's and I can say that I will do so again. I am a sucker for baked potato smothered in soup, chili or veggies. I got a veggie baked potato and it has to be the biggest baked potato I have ever been served! I got it to go so it came with a cup of queso instead of already being poured on top (which I appreciated). I'm not sure there's enough so I will probably buy a second portion of that next time. It is so good! It's going to be difficult for me to try anything else there because it will mean that I won't get this. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I ordered a french dip when you first opened,it was so good,tender meat.It was great.Second time I ordered the French dip,it was ok.The meat had a lot of fat.Today,the third time I ordered the French dip it was horrible.The meat was so dry and tough. I couldn’t chew it. I don’t mind paying good money for a sandwich if it’s worth it.It wasn’t worth it,by any means.I love the French Dip,but I would order it from Arby’s over McAlister’s. I had someone pick up my order today,otherwise I would return it,and request my money back.Sorry McAlister’s I will not be back.

the girl that took my order was nice but my food was garbage, there was nothing on my salad but chicken and tomatos, it was missing 90% of the ingredients. the chili was horrible it wasn't chili it was just tomato sauce had no beans and nothing on top, I would say worst 15$ I've ever spent.

My wife and I have been to the Saraland location of McAlisters Deli about 3 or 4 times now, and each time the food has been really good. We love their Reuben. It is piled high with good corned beef. They are very generous with the ingredients on their sandwiches. The nacho basket as an appetizer is plenty to share with 2 to 4 people. The facility is nice and also has some seating outside. The staff are friendly, patient, and professional. We're glad McAlisters Deli opened in Saraland. For those traveling, this location is close and convenient to I-65 and AL 158.
