This was my first time eating food from McAlister's and I can say that I will do so again. I am a sucker for baked potato smothered in soup, chili or veggies. I got a veggie baked potato and it has to be the biggest baked potato I have ever been served! I got it to go so it came with a cup of queso instead of already being poured on top (which I appreciated). I'm not sure there's enough so I will probably buy a second portion of that next time. My wife and I have been to the Saraland location of McAlisters Deli about 3 or 4 times now, and each time the food has been really good. We love their Reuben. It is piled high with good corned beef. They are very generous with the ingredients on their sandwiches. The nacho basket as an appetizer is plenty to share with 2 to 4 people. The facility is nice and also has some seating outside.
