I would love to review them but we never got acknowledged to place an order. We stood at the counter for several minutes and was never spoken to by either of the 2 employees there. Actually, one of them were sitting at the bar when we walked in and got up and went behind the counter. But instead of greeting us, she instead started putting dishes away. Making lots of noise at that.

We will not return.

Made an online order Saturday 09/27/25. Food that was delivered was not mine. Called store because I didn't want the food they sent and was told they would issue refund but couldn't happen until Monday (09/29/25). I called Monday afternoon and was told Tuesday (today). No refund as of today and I'm getting the runaround. Do not recommend this store (Tulsa, 108th & Memorial). I shouldn't have to keep calling and begging for a refund especially when they acknowledge I did not get the food I had ordered). For the price they charge for their food, you would think they would care but they dont. I have already filed a complaint on the website but I don't expect that to go anywhere either.

I'm glad there is a TSC here in Defiance, Ohio!! I just want you to know that the smoothie I got last Sunday had BIG chunks of food in the bottom. I would appreciate it if your employees would make sure they are blending them well enough.

Today was the first time our office ordered from the TSC app for delivery. We were given a delivery time and when it was 10 minutes late we called. We were told our order had been picked up. We waited another 20 minutes only to find our order left outside of our building in the sun. We ordered two smoothies - only receiving one which was completely melted along with our bowl. We were supposed to get two bags of chips - only one. Both our sandwiches were supposed to not have ranch but they did and were skimpy at best. My coworker called the store and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes was given a phone number to call. When she asked to speak to the manager she was told that there was no manager on site. With this experience we truly don't think we will be ordering again since no one there seems to care. For anyone who cares: order #55915870926873 - Celi Drive - Dewitt 13057

We ordered delivery through the TSC App. Our order arrived without any of our smoothies. When I tried to get in touch with the branch, the phone rings and rings and eventually just hangs up without an option to leave a voicemail. We called several times with the same result. I had to search Google for the customer support phone number, because it’s not in an easy-to-find place on their website. Finally found the number and got in touch with someone, only for her to act like she didn’t even realize she picked up a phone call. She didn’t greet me, introduce herself, or state that she was a CSR with TSC. I had to start the conversation, and then had to ask if I was calling the correct number. Customer support was wholly unhelpful, and just put in the same request form I had already put in on their website. So now we have to wait for a response from “upper management” just to have our refund processed for the smoothies we did not receive from Tropical SMOOTHIE Cafe. We put in an order for delivery for convenience purposes, and spending half of my morning just trying to get a refund for the smoothies I didn’t receive has been far from convenient.

I usually love visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but this location was a bit disappointing. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired—bathrooms, high chairs, and the changing table hadn’t been cleaned, which made things uncomfortable for my wife when she had to use the restroom.

We also experienced a long wait for our food, even though we ordered ahead online. We waited in the lobby near the clearly marked “Pick Up Online & App Orders” area, only to find out later that our order had been sitting ready for a while. By the time we got it, the smoothie was a little melted—though thankfully, it still tasted good.

Just left this horrible place this morning at 8:25am apparently this location doesn’t make their bowls like the others do because per the assistant manager they are privately owned. I approached the assistant manager whom at first told me they only had the mixed fruit bowl available then all of a sudden they had the others after I questioned if she was serious . I walked in and asked a question about the honey being on my bowl after Geri g it from drive thru, she had an attitude from the moment I walked in. She stated she was the assistant manager and I asked her was she serious?! The attitude was horrible!! I then asked her why she had an attitude and she stated I don’t I want to make sure you’re happy all while having an attitude. I understand now why the reviews are like they are, this location and the assistant manager are horrible!!! There is no way this location is still open after the horrible customer service they’ve given the short time they’ve been open.

Just went to pick my order up and the lady at the drive thru window was rude as hell! Literally slung the WRONG order out the window after I tone her my name she handed me Joseph Littles order yet wanted to be rude to me as if I had done something wrong!

I’ve given this location two chances, and both visits were disappointing. The first time, I ordered a $12 smoothie bowl and it was completely frozen solid—unusable. I had to walk back in and ask for a refund. The guy argued with me and told me that's how the make them (apparently, keeping a smoothie bowl in a freezer instead of making them to-order is quality service?).

The second time, I ordered a $10 smoothie and it came out as a watery, juice-like drink with no smoothie texture at all. I asked them to remake it, and while they did, the second version wasn’t much better.

This location has been open for over a year, and based on my experience (and the other reviews I’ve now seen), there’s clearly a persistent issue with staff training.

They should really train their staff on the product they serve. We were told they don't have protein substitutes for their sandwiches and wraps. This is not true. It's an option online and it's written very clearly on their drive thru menu. The staff told us they do not offer that, even though I've gotten it before. The Du Rhu location in Mobile is much better with a trained staff and you don't get these types of quality and service issues that have been consistent with this location. I thought they were working out the kinks since they're relatively new, so I've been hesitant to post a review, but this location has been open long enough.
