We had a party of 10 and were seated within 10 minutes. Great variety on the menu and everyone was pleased with their entrees. The salads were very fresh and the house vinegrette was excellent. I go to Wintzell's every time I roll down I 65 on my way to Mobile. This trip, my wife and I ended up getting two dozen of the fattest, juiciest, and tastiest oysters I've had in years. The only drawback was the price; however, it didn't stop us from getting the second dozen.
The food was hot, fresh, and simply amazing, and the wait time was brief.

We ate here while driving through and spending the night. It was recommended as the best place to eat in Saraland on Trip Advisor. Well, it's a bar that serves food. The food was mediocre at best, and it was the highlight of the dining experience. My salmon salad was supposed to be served over mixed greens. That translated to limp iceberg with three pieces of field greens mixed in. I ordered it without onions. Onions give me indigestion. So of course, it shows up with onions. I mentioned it to the server, Gabby, and she offered to have it fixed. I told her I could pick them off myself. But obviously no one is checking the orders as they come off the line, or she never wrote down no onions... The salmon was tender and tasty, which is why I'm giving the food a 3. I had a Corona Light, and finished it about the same time as my meal. She came by to pick up the bottle and asked me if I wanted another. I said no thank you. My husband heard me. Imagine my surprise when she showed up a little later with another beer. When I told her I hadn't ordered it, instead of apologizing, she sort of grunted and took it away. She never once asked if our meal was ok. No one did. And when we left, she was tidying up right next to our table, and didn't say goodnight, come again, or anything. To be fair, my husband had the special, the Shrimp Scampi, and he was happy with it. I would not go out of my way whatsoever to eat here again. Food decent, service, not so much.

It was a really disappointing first time for me being in the place, I got home a couple of hours from now. I ate at the place because it was one of my friends birthday, I ate blackened chicken Alfredo pasta, I try it and was kind of tasty but then I try the chicken and was kind of weird. I prefer not to touch the food again got home and throw up around 20-30 minutes. Called the restaurant to try to have an answer from them and the manager told me I hope you feel better tomorrow everyone that ate chicken hasn’t complained I’m sorry. I am not asking for a refund or something like that I was letting them know it was horrible.I would never try to eat there againI hope your experience is better than mine and at least the server was really nice with us
The atmosphere was nice. Great food good beer and friendly staff. My wife, and will be going back again.
