Found this gem driving from Atlanta to New Orleans. Shrimp Bisque and the Gumbo was out of this world! Fried Oysters and shrimp were awesome as well. Talli May (the Shrimp Lady) and her staff were so nice and accommodating. She even gave us samples of everything we asked about. Will always stop here from now on!

This is a great place. The gumbo is amazing. Great shrimp po boy and great shrimp Boil. Lots of frozen items to take home. Nice few tables inside and out. Great place to stop close to the highway Just relax and wait the food is worth it

Small hole-in-wall spot, great outdoor dining space, the staff are SUPER friendly and treat you like you've been their next door neighbor for years. Also a popular go-to for market seafood. My hubs and I both got a shrimp-catfish combo meal with fried okra, fries, and potato salad. All your standard restaurant fare, seasoned and cooked perfectly.

We were looking for a break from driving on our way to New Orleans, and this was the perfect stop! We sat outside, enjoyed the live music and savored our food. We got the shrimp boil and gumbo. Delicious!! Everybody was super nice, and I would definitely recommend it!

Really good food! The shrimp, gumbo, and fried oysters were all super tasty. Eat the fried oysters there or open the takeout box so the nice crispy coating doesn’t get soggy.We thought everything was good, but apparently the hush puppies that were with the fried oysters were especially outstanding, the best my wife has ever had.

An unexpectedly great find! We were just looking for a place to grab lunch on our way back to Austin and the name sounded cool so we stopped by. Definitely not fine dining, mostly takeout with some outside tables where you take your food to eat, but the food itself was really great, everything from the gumbo to the boiled shrimp to the fried oysters. Hope said the hush puppies were the best she'd ever had. This is a great place to grab food if you're ever in the area.

Traveling in the area, staying in Saraland and decided to search for "fresh shrimp dinner" nearby. The Shrimp Lady came up and after a quick scan f reviews, I hightailed it over before they closed. I'm so glad I did. Hospitality is first rate; makes you feel right at home. Shrimp, stuffed crab and gumbo were fantastic. I'll stop again when I'm intown for sure!Parking: Room for a big rig, a towed camper or boat or just a small sedan.

Not the worst place, not the best place. Happy to choose a privately owned business. Off put by them asking if I was “with the Q” because I have a shaved head. The sour taste in my mouth that comment left made my food not taste as good.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and are very glad we did! My husband ordered fried oysters, and I ordered the fried shrimp platter with 2 sides. The oysters were delicious. My shrimp was lightly fried with a subtle seasoning and was also very tasty. I got 2 sides, cole slaw and fries, and the fries are a little like wedges, and the cole slaw was really good! However, the fried shrimp advertised 2 sides, and we thought the sides were free. They're not. Its ok, though, because they were good. The hushpuppies are crispy outside and soft inside and can come with a cheese sauce for dipping. Both are very good, with a subtle kick. The folks who own this business are very nice, and we will definitely return.Just want to add that I love this place! The food and service are great! Will definitely keep coming back!

Service was quick. We had fried shrimp and fried fish. Excellent light batter on the fish and shrimp everything was cooked to perfection. Sell Old Dutch ice cream, but was too full to get any. If that wasn't enough, I purchased some large green and ripe red tomatoes. But wait they had beautiful fresh shrimp, that's dinner tomorrow. Going back soon!
