The Bacon and Egg burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. I had the breaded fries to go with it and they weren't greasy, but so close to perfect it's not even funny. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We often stop by Hickory Pit when we're heading to Mobile. Food is always great.The kitchen staff are EXTREMELY generous with food portions. So we can usually go home with more leftover BBQ than we ate for dinner! The wait staff are all very kind and patient. Very nice experience if you're in the mood to EAT!

Me and my husband started going there and it was great then it went downhill fast!! Soggy fries, workers constantly forgetting stuff in our bag after we've asked if everything was in there twice. We live on Big Creek Lake and have been customers a long time. I've gotten over having to get home and calling back to complain just to have the same thing and even worse happen each time. That's 4 times in a row, food just isn't up to par. Will take our business elsewhere. Too many teenagers not paying attention to what they are doing! WE ARE DONE.

Great food at an even greater price. We ordered the fried pickles appetizer and was brought a massive serving of the best fried pickles I've had the BBQ pulled pork and sausage were full of flavor and not dry my wife had the catfish that was prepared perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The only thing that was subpar was the ribs they were lacking much meat but could of been an off batch. Still would recommend

What an absolute delight to look in my to-go bag and see scripture and sweet messages from the staff at Hickory Pit Too! I was picking up some dinner for a precious couple from church who are under the weather and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The staff was so sweet to everyone that came in and it was a pleasure to be there while I waited. I will be back for sure! May the Lord bless this business and our community!

Was driving when we found this little gem. The service was amazing. Very speedy service time as well. When it came to the food i got meatloaf with mashed tators and mac and cheese. All i have to say was jaw droppping, for the price of $12 you can’t beat a meal like that. Tasted just like my granny’s cooking.

I called in an order and it was ready when I got there. $39 for a burger, big potato, and fried dill pickles.. I was looking forward to those pickles! Worst I’ve ever had.. I haven’t eaten there in a long time because of a bad experience so I thought I’d give it another shot.. soggy pickle pieces. Mediocre potato at best. Hamburger was alright. Service was unexceptional. Greeted with what’s the name. Here’s your order. No one in the kitchen had on hairnets and some were smacking gum. Food safety at its finest..
