It’s good to get a break from the corporation, Jane restaurants and visit a local place like this just because they are local. They’re very organized and professional and reasonably priced.

The Bacon and Egg burger was the best burger I've had in a long time. I had the breaded fries to go with it and they weren't greasy, but so close to perfect it's not even funny. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We often stop by Hickory Pit when we're heading to Mobile. Food is always great.The kitchen staff are EXTREMELY generous with food portions. So we can usually go home with more leftover BBQ than we ate for dinner! The wait staff are all very kind and patient. Very nice experience if you're in the mood to EAT!
