My husband and I were shopping at Lowe’s tonight. When checking out, the sales associate saw I lived in Semmes, and asked if I had ever eaten at Royal Seafood. We had not, but she was saying she heard it was good. With that we decided to check it out! It was delicious!!! I love how spacious the tables were and very clean! We will definitely be back ??????

Pretty good when they first opened, but over time the service quality lowered a bit. Orders got messed up and the wait time got a bit longer. Although the food is top-notch, especially the shrimp. I’d recommend.

Good selection but always low on boiled shrimp, tables aren't wiped with bacteria soap.. with covid-19 and seafood this is a must.

Ordered a little bit of everything as this use to be one of our favorite Chinese Buffet locations turned into Seafood restaurant.The hush puppies were great!The Seafood bread was delicious, just french bread topped with cheese and seafood.The Fancy crab cakes were delicious, however, they both had cold spots in them once we dug in… not sure what that’s about.The mozzarella sticks are typical, frozen sticks thrown in a fryer.We order raw oysters and they were all pretty small, a little disappointed there.We also got a pound of crab legs, I asked for just crab legs, so we’d get more poundage, ended up with potatoes and corn and sausage anyways and only two small clusters of legs.Server seemed really new.She didn’t know the answers to questions we about the menu items - like the different between the two types of crab cakes and why one was double the price or what the seafood bread was (my mind thought seafood baked into the bread lol), she forgot things we’d asked for for our meal lie horseradish and crackers for the oysters.She was really sweet and young though, so I’m sure she’ll learn more and do well in the future.

I really only give it 1 star because the girl up front was awesome. This is a rip off. When they say a pound they mean with your corn, potatos and sausage, NOT pound of seafood and we add the starch. I've eaten seafood my whole life and 2 snow crab clusters does not equal a pound. I'm saddened. My scale was off 5 lbs so the total was 1 lb. They other was 1/2. Barely 1 pound total. Will not be back.

This place was beyond amazing. As me and my husband were out for a drive, a bar highly recommended this place. So we went and were very surprised with how spacious the restaurant was, and how good the food is. Our waitress Candice was also great and made us feel comfortable. She also explained the menu to us without being annoyed. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our friends and family to this restaurant.
