The atmosphere was great but the red beans and rice tasted like chili and the cole slaw was just cabbage and onions, there was no slaw dressing on it at all. I had fried shrimp as well and those were good. It looks like a great place to have a beer but I was not impressed by the food.
We ate there for the first time tonight. The blue crab claws were awesome. We ordered the grouper entree. The grouper was really tough to cut. It was dry and tough. The potato was great. Our waitress was nice.
Well folks another place to go with a unique history and atmosphere that is similar to an old tavern. The story behind Cajuns is pretty unique also, it was once a grocery store I believe a Shop Rite. The family had another restaurant prior to this one I wasn’t real clear on that one but Cajuns opened in 1985 and has been a staple for the locals and a great out of town restaurant.
