I just read that Coldwater has new owners, so maybe I shouldn't compare. But, bad food is bad food, so I need to let you know. I remember going to the Coldwater in downtown Tuscumbia in the 90s. My favorite order was the fried chicken finger salad. I remember the tenders being rather large and crispy. Now, I haven't gone back since then, and I was kind of looking forward to it. I went to the drive-thru and ordered a chili cheeseburger with large size fries. I also ordered one chicken finger, but more on that later. I should have checked the order before I left. When I opened the box, I found a chili cheese burger, if you could call it that. The bun was smashed and stale. The meat was weird and gritty, as was the chili. When I opened it up, there were two little dinky slices of onion that I could see through. The french fries, that were supposed to be large size, weren't, and were okay but kind of limp. Anyway, the burger was obviously inedible. So, as you can imagine, I was looking forward to the tender I had ordered. I opened a little bag, and there it was in all it's glory! I actually laughed out loud. There the poor little thing was, hiding from me in it's embarrassment at being called a chicken tender. It was a little baby chicken tender! It was about 2 and a half to 3 inches long and about an inch wide if that. And, to add insult to injury, the poor little thing cost around 2 bucks. I miss the old Coldwater!

Don't bother going after lunchtime, they won't even come out to take your order. This has happened on 3 occasions so I've quit going all together.

Well I got to say they weren't a very happy or kind people and not much help with the menu if I'm being honest but I ate at least so whatever prolly won't ever go back tho
Food is good. Colbert county detention center has better customer service.
Best Breakfast in the shoals!!! Sausage biscuit is legit the best!!
Enjoyed homemade biscuits!
They have good chocolate cake.
The food is good and apparently cooked to order. The chicken tenders are delicious as well as the fries and Cole slaw.
Fries are always crisp and it's pricy for cheeseburger and FF, not even a drink

If I call in my order there is a 75% chance something will be wrong or something is missing
Good food and value ?Donna is rude and grumpy ?Quaint throwback atmosphere.Best chicken ? tenders and patty melt sandwich in the Shoals.Self service once you can get your order taken. Drive up wait time during lunch is frequently ridiculously long. Not a "customer satisfaction" driven staff.
Parking: Difficult to see around store sign when pulling out of parking lot onto Hatch Blvd.
