The service was amazing, all the staff were very warm and friendly. The place was clean and the food was amazing. I even had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Elaine the mastermind in the kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good time and good food. Definitely a southern hidden gem.
We celebrated our anniversary at George’s Steak Pit. Our server Sarah was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. My steak filet and my husband’s prime rib was cooked perfectly. I wanted the filet and commented to our server that I really can’t eat that much, and she told me about a 5 oz option not on the menu, which I got.
There’s also a nice selection of wines and desserts.

We were in town today for our anniversary trip and decided on steak. We looked up several places before deciding on George's.
First the good... Alexis, our server was friendly, attentive, and very personable. Sadly this is the only highlight of our dining experience.
I ordered the Prime Rib, my wife ordered the Picanah. She asked for medium but ended up with half of the steak well done, and the other have about medium... not too terrible,...
