Prime time, Friday evening. We checked in at the host desk - _15-20 minutes, we will text you_. Fine. Instead of hanging in the waiting crowd, we just went back to our car. Bing! Time to go in. Being so busy we got one of the last tables for two available. Ok. I ordered a Cobb Salad with added shrimp. The wait seemed overly long, but considering the crowd, ok. As for the entrée salads Outback gets five stars. Fine chilled lettuce, egg, bacon crumbles and more - standard recipe but very tasty and moist. But the shrimp were a bit over cooked and dry, and I guess you don't get cocktail sauce. Lastly, the vibe was pretty noisy and background music was there but we couldn't make out any tunes. So overall, this Outback did the job but I couldn't make a five star review.

We come regularly for any special occasion. I always get the coconut shrimp and sirloin, which are always cooked perfectly. The shrimp is always crispy and juicy and the marmalade is always sweet and not too spiced; the steak is always a perfect medium rare with just the right seasoning (though this most recent visit did seem lighter on the seasoning - not shocking since they were out of quite a bit including bread and butter probably due New Year's Eve last night).
This time we did order a Gingernread Fizz, which was amazing! We also tried the Smoked Cinnamon Pecan Old Fashioned, which was less orange and had regular ice instead of the large cube it's advertised with and seemed to be less sweet than expected - neither of us could taste any cinnamon or pecan in the drink. I'm not sure if they even offer a regular smoked old fashioned, which is all the check said and after getting a check no one will come by unless you pay in cash, but definitely tastes more like a nice smoked old fashioned than anything with cinnamon.
Overall, even though they were out of several items and seasonings seems slightly lessened, I still love coming here for our special occasions and having a nice steak with delicious shrimp. Maybe even another Ahi Tuna (last time we tried it, my boyfriend picked up a piece that was covering the wasabi so will thoroughly check every bite after that mouthful of wasabi).

Bartender was awful, slow to serve margaritas were awful tasted like vodka not tequila. Food took 40 minutes to arrive at the table. Dressing on salad was at the bottom of the bowl didn't know about that till you almost got to the bottom of the bowl!!!! About the only thing that was good was the blooming onion!!! Will be quite some time before we go back, very, very disappointed. And it was 1:00pm restaurant was not crowded. Drove an hour and a half spent 165.00 for disappointment...

We showed up at 3pm on a Wednesday, and we haven’t been here in a whole hot minute! Joe was our server and remembered us from where we used to come in all the time. He had our bread ready and dropped our extra crispy bloomin onion before I ordered it!
IT CAME OUT RIGHT ON TIME!! PERFECTLY CRISPY!
They added a few items to their menu and we ordered the mozzarella boomerangs and we both got steaks and Ceasar salads and everything came absolutely perfect!
We will definitely be back.

We had a very large group with us and they catered to us very well. There were no mix-ups mess-ups or anything. Food was great. The drinks were great. I had a whiskey sour and it was very good
Meh... Haven't been to an Outback in years. Went out for a Sunday dinner and ended up at Outback simply because Texas Roadhouse was packed with no parking available within a walkable distance. (We're both disabled) Parking at Outback was wide open, and for a reason it appears. Server was great, food was, well, simply meh. Just OK. We both ordered a steak and shrimp combination. For over 30 bucks a plate, it simply was not worth it. Cesar salads came some kind of interesting concoction of liquid, not a true Cesar dressing of any sort. Steaks were thin and grizzly. The four tiny shrimp looked like they needed to grow up a little more before being served. Just meh. My wife had a mixed adult beverage, also meh. Passed on dessert. Again, server was great and well taken care of. Just really feel let down by what was was a hundred dollar meal. Sure wish Texas Roadhouse wasn't so swamped. Meh, live and learn.

We ate in Florence AL around 7 pm on a Saturday. Seated at a booth with invisable food and crayons on the floor, we could see it. It became obvious the table next to us had the better waitress, rarely saw ours in comparison. Our disheveled young man appeared as if recently transferred from a Chucky Cheese parlor. We ordered the Prime Rib medium rare, after a more than fair wait, ( there was a tv playing a doubles tennis match, watched 5 games) food arrived from a kitchen worker. The prime rib, potato/ veggies were cool to the touch. Dishes were reheating and returned. Loaded potato appeared pre-made and served with low end scooped sour cream. Overall experience was less than satisfying. Wd didn't have drinks and I'm guessing Outback needs it's customers to drink in order to overlook the poor quality service and food. We maybe hit them at a wrong time, thet were all out of silverware and napkins. Ate our blooming onion with cocktail napkins. Other namebrand steak houses in Florence AL are no better, over salted poorly staffed. If all you really want is a good dinner, why pay Outback prices, you can be just as frustrated at Applebee's.

We ordered from DoorDash and my wife ordered her steak medium well because she did want to risk any bacteria in the mean since she’s 28 weeks pregnant. The steak was extremely seared on the outside and full on pink on the inside. This isn’t the first time we’ve had this rather eating inside or getting it to go. It isn’t that hard to cook a steak to order, they can definitely do better. I shouldn’t have to recook her steak after the money we just spent on it!!
