This place is most definitely a hidden gem and needs some recognition for what they are doing in Sheffield, AL. I am not I repeat a turkey guy BUT here it’s a 10 out of 10 it’s juicy and flavorful and the bologna man it’s good thick and smoked right. Ribs were my favorite they I tried the turkey. Russell BBQ definitely has earned my respect and ion eat everybody’s BBQ. This place has a great staff and definitely knows how to put down on the smokers

This was our first visit! We will be back with friends! We shared the sampler with roasted corn and potato salad! We added on banana pudding! Their service plan is different very casual, the restaurant looks great! We had pulled pork, brisket, sausage, turkey and ribs! Everything was really good!

The Turkey is so sweet and still smokey, the Brisket is so tender and just melts in your mouth. The ribs are near perfection. I got the Bulldog.
Seems like finally, we have a legit BBQ spot that mimics what I found in TX. Food was excellent. Several meats were already sold out when we arrived, so we split a 3-meat (ribs, turkey, and pulled pork). Excellent. The sides were fantastic as well (slaw and cheesy potatoes). Can’t wait to go back. 5/5 for sure.
