After a waiter at another local Mexican restaurant recommended we try Sergio's, we made our first visit today and it was fabulous!

We were greeted and seated within seconds of entering. As soon as we sat down the server took our drink orders and offered to bring queso and guacamole, which we gratefully accepted.

When our server walked away to get our drinks, the owner came over to welcome us and to tell us about his restaurant. He was very hospitable and enthusiastic about his food and place. He made recommendations, told us about his daily ritual of making fresh salsas and guacamole and menu items, and then checked in on us four or five times more as we enjoyed our meals, both of which were wonderful.

My wife had fajita chicken quesadillas and I enjoyed a platter with street tacos (grilled chicken and steak, both of which were fantastic), and we are happy to recommend those meals to you.

The atmosphere was fun. The restaurant is what you might expect in a storefront in a sort of rundown shopping area, but it was clean, comfortable, and hospitable, and it had the energy and warmth of a local diner.

We highly recommend Sergio's Authentic Mexican Restaurant and we have no doubt that we'll be back, if the Lord wills.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their genuine hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

The atmosphere is simple and unassuming, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It’s clear the focus here is on what truly counts: exceptional food and heartfelt service. Sometimes the best gems aren’t dressed up—they just shine on their own.

I ordered some food on doordash and I went to pick it up. The food had jalapeños in it but on the app it won't allow you to take anything off so I hurried up and got to the store and I stood in the front for a few mins and no one came so I called the restaurant and told the lady I was allergic to the jalapeños and she literally told me deal wit it. She said they've already started making it and i understand that but what she wasn't understanding how do you tell a paying customer to eat something their allergic to. So me and her had a little argument cause that's just rude and unacceptable I lost $18 cause I can't have jalapeños. I love the owner he's a nice man.

Hidden Gem. This is how my favorite restaurant!! The food was fresh, great portions, and had amazing flavor. You can tell the chef loves food 🤤 The owner was on site and attentive. I can't say enough good things about this place!!

I was needing something to keep me going while I was with my wife in the hospital that's down the road. I came into this quiet little restaurant just needing some peace and good food! It did just want i wanted it to do. I wasn't hungry but needed food so I got a small plate of grilled chicken and beans for some fixing on the side. It was great! Some of the best grilled chicken I've had in a while. I have told everyone I know that loves a good authentic Mexican food to go here! I uave been back a few times and now my wife is out of the hospital we are heading there today for lunch! The other is a burrito I got the next day that was amazing btw! He asked if I like burritos and this is what he brought out! Amazing place for amazing food!

Some of the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had. Pair that with great service and you’ve got a winner! We had cheese dip, shrimp and grits with conecuh sausage, and the beef birrias. Food came out hot and flavorful! 10/10 recommend!

Sergio’s is the sweetest and yummiest spot in the area. The service and food are top notch. Sergio himself greeted us and recommended some of his favorite dishes (the Birria quesadillas, guacamole, and charro beans). We ordered what he recommended and he was absolutely right…they were SO good! We had the nicest and most attentive waiter as well. We will be back! Thank you Sergio!

Sergio greeted us as we entered. He is very friendly and has suggestions to help you decide what to get. He is passionate about the food, and truly enjoys bringing your family a good meal. Excellent food and service. Memo was very kind and waited on us. Such a great place to eat.
