Great food and service. Crab claws were top tier. The Po Boy sandwich was delicious and the Monte Cristo was delicious. Be sure to make reservations before your visit. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Forth visit to Southern Grocery. Twice in a party of two, once in a large group of 16, and this time solo.

Service was what we noticed first we had to flag down three times to get drinks. Staff was into conversation other end of bar. The bar tender walked past customers many times with not eye contact for customers to get his attention to order.. female bartender was way more connected. I then looked around the whole area to see if drinks were full at other tables and that’s when I realized maybe lack of staff? Many drinks empty.. it was the first time we have had that experience...
