Out to eat with my wife and everything about our dinner date was wonderful.
The food, environment, atmospere, and service. Our server, Ragan, did a great job.

10/10 wouldn’t recommend this place. Came for a nice dinner and left with an empty stomach. When we arrived we were seated and asked our drink orders and despite being one of only 3 people in the restaurant it took 10 minutes to get our drinks. To even get our drinks i had to flag someone down and let them know. I watched a couple come in after us get their drinks AND appetizer before we got our drinks if that tells you how long we waited.. we immediately put in our order and when our steaks arrived my husbands steak was decent he said (both of us ordered rare) but mine was so charred and crispy that it had no flavor other than the taste of the char. My green beans were even dry and flavorless. I took one bite, spit it out and sent it back. Having owned a restaurant for 15 years i never would’ve sent a steak out like this personally but i guess my standards are higher. The manager (I’m assuming) brought it back and said they added some sauce to it for me. I told him i didn’t want it because it wasn’t edible. He asked how to make it better and i told him to just take it back. He walked off and we got our check. The entire steak was still on our check!!! Now i ate a few bites of the salad and i ate one bite of the steak so i expected to pay for the salad of course but i was NOT happy that i had to request it to be partially taken off. Then the manager comes over again and said its their “policy” (which by the way is not posted anywhere to see) to charge for meals even if you send them back and that he would take a portion off of it. They took off $10 off of a $28 meal for me to eat a salad and take a bite of the worst steak I’ve ever eaten in my life (I’ve had better steaks cooked at Applebees and by ten year olds).

So beware, stay far away if you want a GOOD steak.

We had a party of 14. And had made reservations and we were ready to place our orders when we went in and we got there at 5 just when they opened we even asked beforehand if we would be done for the 7 pm show at the ritz and they assured us yes well nnnooo. Half our group didn’t even get their salads or their food and it was 6:43 when half of the others got theirs. The back room of about 8 people got their food and all the small tables around us was served before us.
I’m not sure what happened because everyone speaks highly of this place.

What a gem! High vintage ceilings with antique tin, amazing staff and such fresh food. I had the blackened catfish, Kevin the lasagna. As our waitress, Tiffany said, “you never make a bad decision and never leave wanting”! And was she ever right!!!

10/10 Recommend! Tiffany was a wonderful waitress! We were greeted & seated with water immediately! We ordered an amazing filet mignon with potatoes & a side salad.🥗 Everything came out quickly and perfect 👌

Stopped in for lunch. I had the beef tips over rice with a side of Mac 'n' cheese, my lady had a club sandwich with onion rings. Everything was delicious! The beef tips were perfectly seasoned and the Mac 'n' cheese was so creamy. My lady loved the club sandwich and the onion rings were fried perfectly (not overcooked, light and crispy). The server was friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I ate there for the first time today. It was a great place!! Fresh food, great people!! Perfect amount of choices for keto, carnivore and carb out diets 😁 We had the 12 oz ribeye steak perfectly cooked medium rare, shrimp and grits.. with the bacon wrapped chicken appetizer!!

We are planning our corporate Holiday dinners there!! Thank you for such an amazing experience with your family and crew.

I took my husband out for his birthday and we chose The Red Clay Table although we had never been there before we were certainly Not disappointed! The food was great and Kat our server was outstanding! We will definitely come back again! The creme brûlée was amazing!

Well my husband and I have made our 2nd visit to The Red Clay Table and the food, atmosphere, and service were just as exceptional as our 1st trip. This time I had the grilled chicken and my husband had a burger. So good!!!

We always enjoy the atmosphere, food and service at the Red Clay Table. Salmon, fried green beans, cheese sticks and the farmers salad and some of my favorites! Don't forget the Creme Brule

Second time here and service was just as good as the first time. Food was amazing the first time we ate here, but the second wasn’t so good. I got the 10oz sirloin and half of the steak was fat. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and came out rare the first time. I asked the waitress if she wouldn’t mind asking the kitchen if they would put it back on the grill. When the steak came back out it was just as rare as the first time. Definitely would recommend this place on a good day, but todays food wasn’t so great.

Picture a statuesque antique building filled with softly focused lighting, beautiful place settings and some of the best food in the south. The salad was crisp with a great mixture of greens, the shrimp and grits were perfectly seasoned and cooked. All of the meals looked delicious and the service was excellent. One side is a restaurant, the other hosts catered events.
