Coleslaw was gross. It looked and tasted more like lettuce instead of cabbage and there was no seasoning or anything in the sauce. Everything else was great but the coleslaw left a lot to be desired.

Update 6-11-25: I wanted to update my review because it has been a while since I've done so. I just really wanted to say that the service at this Jack's has improved immensely since David and the team that he has assembled has taken the helm.
The food is always hot, fresh, and good tasting. But the level of customer service that I experienced the past few times I've been there was exceptionally delightful.
Their team really is trying very hard to go above and beyond to provide a higher level of great tasting food and fast and ultra-friendly customer service! I think that's wonderful.
I'm glad to see Jack's in Slocomb, because you can still get a good meal for under $10, and even less than that after 4pm. I would like to see them offer a Big Jack Meal special also after 4pm. I love the Big Jack, and can eat them every day. And they always make them just right.
I good friend of mine also starting working there and he's a really great guy. He's literally a comic and he's one of the funniest and nicest people you'll ever meet. I'm certain he'll be a brilliant addition to their team.
Jack's really is a nice place to grab a good and hearty meal, and also a great place to rest and take it easy for a while. My favorite thing is topping off my refill of Dr Pepper as I'm heading out the door. There's always something about topping off one more time before I hit road. They have the best soda and sweet tea.
I can't rave about this Jack's enough. When I pulled up today the ladies outside remembered me from yesterday and had my Big Jack and chicken tenders snack ready in no time!

Management, Candace and Marie are extremely rude here. I ate breakfast here every morning until I encountered Marie. With the way, I was treated Christmas Eve morning by Candace, that was the last straw, I’m done coming into this place. The sad thing is management and the owners don’t care, they are rolling in the dough here. There is no competition, there is no other fast food restaurants in Slocomb. That’s OK I’ll drive the 6 miles over to Hartford.

We went to the only restaurant in town which was Jack's and they were very busy after a late high school basketball game. Even so, the staff was friendly and we got good food very quickly.

Ordered plain small hamburger with just lettuce, tomato, pickle. Instead got a hamburger with a slop amount of mayo, ketchup, mustard, so much so it was not edible. Also Ordered small fries. Yes they were hot, but they were drowning in salt, also not edible! When I called to complain, the girl who answered the phone stated they are instructed to "overly salt" the fries! Really!? Finally got to speak to the manager who did somewhat apologize, but you shouldn't have to spend nearly $10 for a small burger and small fries that got thrown in the trash. It was my first time at Jacks, and definitely my last!!

I visit this establishment everytime I visit my grand children and it never fails they ALWAYS leave something out of my order and end up having to go back and have it fixed when it would take all of 30 seconds to check and make sure the order is correct, that's not to much to ask when I'm spending no less then $30-$40 every time I go there..
