We have heard several people talk about this place. We went today…..I can assure you we will NOT be back!!!! Two bags of garbage were taken out through the dining room, most of the staff were very unfriendly, my fiancé ran out of tea (our waitress walked passed our table at least five times like we were not there), there was a hair in my food. When I flagged her down and asked for a refill for him, she brought back a HALF of a glass of tea with very little ice in it. When I went to pay our bill, the cashier had a HORRIBLE attitude, snapped at me, almost snatched my money from me. All because I sent my plate back and declined a redo. She then slammed the drawer, handed me my change. She didn’t say thank you, come see us again, kiss my foot, nothing!!!!

Barely got in the door and experienced rude staff. Not to mention the staff wearing shirts that said "improve your sex life" on a Saturday at noon. I had my children so this wasn't ideal since they call read. Anyway, left there and drove a minute to Agave Azul (who were friendly and the food was good!)

We travel from Santa Rosa Beach Florida for Nates. It was a “find” several years ago, and were we lucky. We usually sit at the bar and watch while we wait. That grill is constantly full , oysters constantly being shucked , wait staff going from table to table with a smile. The food is great, people are great and that is why we keep coming back. Oh I should mention a plate full of delicious food ! We are former restaurant owners and we know a family run business is hard if not impossible work. When you know you serve great food , great prices and in sometimes overwhelming conditions the critics are always ready to pounce. So, if you are reading this take the critic comments with a GRAIN OF SALT. It’s been months since we have been there due to health and hospital but we cant wait to come back. Our rating 5*****

We went on Saturday before Mother’s Day . It was busy but there were empty tables . A server seated us and left to go back to her other guests. We waited awhile and a nice lady came up and took our order . After that it took awhile and a few tables were also waiting for their meals. The food is good but not enough choices on sides and no dessert. It could have been cooler in side . It looked like only two air conditioners were on to cool a big crowed room . The staff was friendly but they were way under staffed for a Saturday night. Half way through our meal they locked the doors because they were running out of food because they were really busy that day and the day before. I rate this over all 85 percent satisfaction.

Don’t let the small town fool you. This is a big city taste. More food than you can eat at good prices. Excellent atomsphere, great service, friendly people. Like coming home to a home cooked meal. Don’t pass it by you will regret it. Can’t say enough about how excellent, first time visit will be back.

The food is well prepared and doesn't take too long. The reason I gave 3 stars on service is because our server yesterday never once came back to check on us.

I always love going to Nate’s no matter how long of a wait it may be. They have the best blackened grouper nuggets in this world!! They are never dry and I have so many I can never finish my plate. Their cheese curds and sweet potatoes are the best I can find around as well. My son loves their fried shrimp and ribeye!! People always complain about the wait time there. I always go there with the expectations of having a long wait because their food is so darn good and affordable. If we get there and don’t have to wait or it’s short I just count that as an extra win to my day!!

A party of 2 went in to your place hoping to have a nice meal.We were waited on and waited for our meal about 40 minutes. A couple who came in after us got their meals before us.....We left with great disappointment
