CASH ONLY, has some items for walk-in customers but mostly makes custom orders. Sweetest woman who’s been running this bakery for decades. BEST streusel pie around! Absolutely worth the visit!

A friend and I were taking the longer road to Huntsville and just happened to pass this lovely shop! It was late in the day, almost closing, so our options weren't much but still just as delicious! This is the closest to authentic German food I have found in Northern Alabama. Definitely visiting again soon.
I stopped in today for the first time. It was worth the drive. Authentic German baked goods. My taste buds thought I was in Germany again. German baked goods are less sugary so all the flavors pop. She even baked Brotchen. So exciting to have a real Brotchen sandwich.

I see Christine almost every other week. Genuinely delicious German food, from baked goods, to Currywurst, to bread and rolls and German cheese cake etc. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

Had only spotted this place by spending some time wandering on Google maps--She's definitely OFF the beaten path! If you enjoy local, friendly, venues that feature vintage plates and mugs, with quality people and products, well then, make a point to stop in. Pro tip: call ahead so you can be sure to get that tasty item you were looking for --she sells out!

A hidden gem. A piece from home
Absolutely authentic little bakery. We really enjoyed the German mixed rye bread during our stay in the area. Be sure to visit and try!
